Couldn't watch the game yet, but I love what I see from Rawls in these highlights. He's gonna be good. Seems like a less hyped up clone of Deveon Smith. Also, I don't think I've ever seen Gardner run that fast. It seems like his strides are shorter or something. Someone in the other thread mentioned he's letting it loose a little more, and I can definitely see that.
"Michigan Defense" is dominating everything, in every aspect of life. That's a rough definition.

This is what I was thinking also. Devin looks a lot faster. I'm not sure if its because we didn't see Denard run today, but I just remember the last couple of years after having Devin come in for Denard, Devin with his long strides looked like he was running in slow motion.

Not to dissimilar to the tone he had regarding the team’s performance for much of last season, IIRC. We didn’t seem to really have things figured out until the Illinois game. If he seems a little bit more critical this time around, it may have to do with higher expectations going into hi second year, or the fact that we open against Alabama rather than Western this time around.
