That's great.
It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future. -- Yogi Berra
Finally got their championship, great moment...
Denard Robinson......They're not going to catch him!
Who is hugging Jalen towards the end of that clip? Is that Bron Bron?
Crying? No I'm not crying. I just got something in my eye.
In all seriousness. I could not be happier for these guys...and the fact that Juwan is yelling "FAB FIVE!!!" just tops it off.
F*** the banners. The Fab Five were here, they did exist. They changed the game, they changed the world. It's great --- to be --- a Michigan...Woooolverine.
“True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise — the other, loyalty.”
MVP MVP MVP.. you mean they gave that to LeBron?.. dang
Touchdown Manningham! MICHIGAN WINS!
Too lazy to fetch statistics, but someone posted on twitter that Howard was the first of the Fab Five to win a championship in college or pro sports.
So Congrats to Howard.
The title page of the link article might help. Just sayin... and good effort.
is up with pouring beer on Jalen's head?
Pretty sure it was champagne. And that's what teams do when they win championships.
So if you look at 1:04 in the video, there is clearly a bottle of Budwiser placed over the head of Mr. Rose
Unless Budweiser started making champagne in red metallic bottles, you are correct.

Miller = "Champagne of beers."
Miller <<<<<<<< Budweiser.
Makes sense.
I can't start my own post, but this I'd awesome. Kid songs his way into uofm. http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/teen-sings-way-off-university-michi...

Damn, that guy can HUG.
Now I want one.
Great story on Juwan from before the game yesterday.

That was really cool. And emotional. Thanks for posting that. Too bad Chris, Jimmy and Ray couldn't be there to share that with Juwan too.
So can we at least put up a Miami Heat Championship banner in Crisler?
M'Dog
It didn't even strike just how emotional on multiple levels this is for them until the article mentioned that Howard is the only remaining member of the Fab Five in the NBA yet is the first among them to be on a team that won a ring. That had to make this moment that much more moving for them.
Thanks for sharing this.

This was surprisingly moving. I'm delighted to see that bond still so strong.
Streaming UM games early Sunday morning from Korea, since 2007
Great to see him get a ring. Best Juwan moment: graduates with his class at UM, even though he went to NBA after his junior year.
True that may have been his "best" moment...but this was certainly my favorite.

I hate the NBA - but I made it a point to watch the game last night because I wanted to see Juwan get his ring.
Born in Ohio to a Catholic family, but I went Blue
The onions are strong in that video. Love those guys, Fab Five Forever!
best part of the movie 300.... 300 spartans die!!!
Clearly, Juwan Howard was a huge contributor to this team's success on the court
Don't pee in our cheerios.
...and by that, I mean helter-skelter, willy-nilly and putt-putt!
