Sorry this is late. Today was the one day per year that I have to go out of town for my job.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOsIx0ngGng
VIDEO: Hoke Presser (8/21)
...visual of Fitz and Clark in a small boat out in the middle of a small pond, in full uniform with one oar each, trying to get their timing down.
i love Brady in pressers!
he don't suffer no fools!!
Showed a little emotion on his sleeve about Pipkins. Stood a few people down on some issues (like whether Fitz will play or not, and whether it was gamesmanship). He seems pretty confident in the team as well, like the problems they have are not big problems, but manageable ones.
Penn State was a quarterback-less, head coach-less car wreck the past two years. Our odds may be slim -- in part because of the Bama - Penn State outcomes -- but if anything, our guys have been focused for months on this game, we have a Senior 3rd year starting QB, and scouting us is harder than scouting Bama due to the coaching and scheme change (i.e., what we were two years ago is different than last year, and since last year was a partial step into the new regime, this year will be different as well).
I doubt this year will be that much different than last year, if they play to Denard's strengths...
Al Borges has a deep playbook and he's had a full offseason to develop more plays for Denard after having a season with him under his belt. We'll certainly see a lot of the same stuff from last year, but I bet we'll see quite a bit new as well. It seemed like there was a new wrinkle to the offense about every other week last year, I hope/expect that to continue.
I think being in the second year will allow Mattison to greatly increase what the defense does schematically even more than the offense, especially with blitz packages.
I would have loved to have seen how they managed practicing in a banquet hall lol
I love this man, great to see a players coach doing it the right way, and not taking no crap from nobody.
"And it was a really good practice."
Classic-est quote ever.
