What a difference a year (and a few brunettes) makes...last year I don't think anyone was comfortable with Gibbons on a 19 yard XP.

Great to hear Roundtree is back at full speed.

I fully expected him to be good to go for the game but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about it.

Absent any real insight due to the lockdown on practice and the relative calmness of the coaches in the pressers, I get the sense the coaches feel pretty good about the D-Line and their ability to at least stalemate Alabama’s o-line on Saturday.

honestly, I believe them when they say they really aren't sure until the game starts, I don't know how you could be. They will not be sure how effective the d-line is going to be until Saturday.

Kinda reading between the lines, I'm a little worried Black ends up a man without a position. Seems like the skill set for WDE and 3 tech are pretty different so it's hard to see one person excelling at both at the same time. SDE has been locked up by Roh, so he can't go back there either.

If this truly is our "big" package then I can see this being used more for teams like Alabama, Iowa, MSU, etc.
If he ends up a man without a position, I would have to think that he gets 1st team snaps when we roll out the pass rush package.

Denard got a little soundtrack playing behind him from the band. Sounds great!

Yeah, I thought Denard's intro with the "good afternooooon" was funny too.

Denard seems pretty comfortable behind the microphone anymore. His answers are fast and smooth, just like his running style.
I especially liked his explanation about what the Navy Seals experience taught him. He doesn't want to let his team mates feel the burden.
It's going to be a good year!
