Video of Harbaugh, players speaking at Nike Launch
What a night. Top-5 in greatest days of my life. I was awake until 5am. Cloud fucking nine.
I periscoped everything from the launch party other than Desmond Howard as I was getting ready to head into the store.
Check this out.
Harbaugh video is a must-see.

Looks like a great time.
That looked like it was off the chain!
Great stuff, I wish I could've been there
Top 5 life event for Nike? I just went on and bought a few things as I like Nike but top 5 life event? You have a lot of life left to experience, man.
It's not even just the gear.
I met so many people yesterday. People that follow me on twitter that recognized me, mgobloggers on here like gord, Bryan Fuller. I even met Ace who happened to be in the area earlier.
It was an experience. The gear and the event were almost equally as great for me. The fact that I got to spend the time leading up to it with friends was also nice.
Honestly this shouldn't even be a top 5 moment in your life as a michigan fan. You can see people at every tailgate before football games and the games are better than buying gear at nike. You've been alive and on this board for at least the Notre Dame under the lights, a basketball final four run, which included a miracle shot win over kansas, a final four win, and a classic of a final on different days. I mean this doesn't even register in terms of sports let alone life experiences.
but thanks for posting the videos!
The amount of shit WD catches for liking what he likes is unbelievable. Who are you to assert what should qualify as a top-5 life moment for him?
Dude has a passion and chases it with total enthusiasm, which is more than a lot of people can say.
I would normally agree with you, but WD is 21 years old. That's full blown adulthood no matter how long your personal path of maturity. If he were 14 I would be right there with you.
How am I different from the other thousands who were at the event last night?
You know what? You're right, man.
You seem to have had a great time and there's nothing wrong with that.
Are they declaring it a top 5 life event?

Doesn't matter if they are or not. People shitting all over WD for something he experienced that was awesome to him is pretty uncalled for.
Are you Wolverine Devotee Sr.?

No difference. Their brains haven't matured either, apparently.
He's 21? Oh shit. Everyone back off.
His brain hasn't even fully developed yet. Seriously.
Let him put his thing down all day, all night. Life will get in the way soon enough.
WD seems like an OK guy. He's not this person:
http://www.theonion.com/article/walking-sports-database-scorns-walking-…
I don't meet people that I interact with online at football tailgates.
I spent a lot of money that I earned. This was like a vacation for me, and it was my first real adventure. I got a hotel and everything in my name.
Yeah I don't mean to denigrate what you hold important, I'm just suprised that even in a sports ranking this would be top 5 given the last years haven't actually been devoid of sports related excitement.
The last line needs to be emphasized more. Buying Nike wasn't the high spot of your life. It's the fact you got a hotel room, you were able to drink, and you bought Nike stuff... All with spending time with a couple buddies.
Add the pleasures a woman can favor you with to the equation, and the kinky things you can do with her with all that new Nike gear you just procured, then I'd say your evening could not have been surpassed.
Glad you enjoyed yourself...looks like a good time was had by all.
Not that anybody asked but WD got me thinking.
1. December 13th, 1986. Birth of my oldest Christopher (firstborn). Even though I had two others from the first marrage and adopted my son Thomas that day will always stick in my head as something amazing to me. I produced a son.
2. December 31st, 2009. Day I married Jill.
3. October 13th, 2008. The day my oncologist told me that while my cancer was in my lymph nodes I would in all likelyhood die with it, not fromrly enough
4. January 2nd, 1998. Finally, Michigan wins a national title in football and I WAS THERE!
5. June 20th, 2016. Cavs win NBA title. Lose my voice from screaming at TV with my son.
Honarable Mentions: day I graduated from Michigan, day my first company sold to Wayne Husinga, birth of other children, day my divorce went from wife #1 was final.
And you know what - I think it's cool as Hell that yesterday was one of his best days. It prolly wont make the top five when he's my age but I'd be hard-pressed to tell you what one of my best days looked like when I was 21. You'll notice there's no date on my list before 1998 and by then I was 39 years old.
Day my son was born
Day I got married
Day we bought our first house
Day my daughter was born
Day I received my HS diploma tied with my first college degree
#1- losing my virginity on my wedding day. It was in the bathroom with one of the bridesmaids
#2- I got a big bonus check one time. It mostly went towards Cocaine & Hookers, but holding that check was a bit surreal.
#3- the night we moved in to our first time house. I bought a new grill and overcooked steaks ($2 tough). I remember feeling accomplished on the back porch drinking a cold beer. I couldn't foresee all the bs that goes along with home ownership.
#4- the day I brought my dog and best friend home
#5- December 30th, 2014

Honestly, you shouldn't be telling people what they can and can't consider top 5 lifetime experiences. This was unique and from the looks of it, full of energy. Guy got a chance to see Harbaugh, meet Gary, and see a ton of other athletes and personalities all in one spot. He clearly enjoyed it. Good for him. I'm not gonna sit here and say you should be more excited about this, because you like what you like. Just let the guy enjoy the experience.
Edit: Posted before I saw your response further down the thread. Still holds true, but glad you recognize at least the first part of what I said.
Thanks for periscoping the event and btw nice shot with Gary.
YOU GOT TO MEET ACE!!!1!!
Thats going in the new superguide.
I say we should have an official Meet and Greet WD day at the next tailgate he is at
I saw you WD. Was thinking of saying something but you were in the zone at the moment. How'd you get that cart?
Did you see the pic of all his stuff all over his bed? The kid has a serious perspective problem.
Says the guy with 8000+ points on an internet message board and an avatar featuring his dog. It's all relative, man.
Yea. Get a life dude.

Pipe down, loser.
Ur real tough behind a keyboard pal

Do you want a knuckle sandwich?
Just for that you're getting an atomic wedgie, Butthead!
Not sure exactly what you're saying, but I take no issue with mgoblue0970's level of internet fandom. I also take no issue with WD's fandom. People like what they like.
I just think it's kind of funny that heavy posters on here, who are already at pretty extreme & unusual levels of Michigan sports fandom (myself included), are so prone to making fun of WD's extreme & unusual level of Michigan fandom.
I was agreeing with you about having 8000+ points in a message board
Sent from MGoBlog HD for iPhone & iPad
Okay. Didn't get that. My bad.
I see how that was really confusing haha

what the hell? he loves michigan sports like all of us and happens to have a unique passion for michigan sports apparel. He got to spend the night with tons of people that share that passion. He met a bunch of players (including rashan gary), saw harbaugh and desmond howard speak.. you have a serious perspective problem for not being able to recognize that different people get enjoyment from different things.
Honestly, most of us have a serious perspective problem.

Harbaugh sure does.
For everyone dogging on WD:
Leave him the fuck alone, is it excessive? Probably, but who gives a fuck it's his money and he has the right to spend it on anything he wants. I think some of you are just jealous of him and all you're doing is making him famous through out the Michigan fanbase. WD life is a bitch sometimes and if you're truly happy than good for you!!

Feel better?

Honestly I do, you as a teacher should know bullying/teasing someone isn't cool.
Sent from MGoBlog HD for iPhone & iPad
Which makes you wonder if he/she truly is a teacher. The poster has made it a habit of trolling WD, lambasting more often than not.
It's fucking odd to say the least.
Really? I never noticed but that is sad, their students probably do it to
