I'm seeing the same trend Michigan is always the first to offer on these ohio kids and even when ohio beats us head to head it seems to be the onese who were lifelong Buckeye fans that were never going to go blue anyhow.  I'm also really Impressed that we're recruiting kids from columbus so successfully.  All that said OSU is still getting some really great kids, but long term I think you're right this trend is going to kill their talent base.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but I feel like a football expert now. Hoke speaks with complete authority at all times. No timidness, no uncertainty, and I'm sure it rubs off on the players.

I watched the whole thing and I feel the same way. I'd totally charge onto a football field and play defense. Until of course, I realize that a 5'2 Asian girl was not meant to be on a field where 300 pound guys have one purpose of bashing others to a pulp. But geeze, Hoke knows how to get you interested and motivated. And he's a great teacher.

Other than Hoke just being awesome and nit really ever getting enough of the big guy, you just made my kids day.

My 7 year old wants to play D line. He asked for a tackling dummy for Christmas and he practices blocking and knocking it over all day long.

I was a RB/ CB i don't know squat about D line. We found some garbage on you tube so this is gold.

Oh yeah, Hoke taking over Ohio is pretty cool too. Rivalry...Tee shirts...yada yada...

Poor choice choosing to watch this while studying.  Thought I'd skip through it, but inevitably ended up watching the video in its entirity.

I am not looking forward to the day that Brady Hoke is no longer our head football coach

If I were a paternally-minded HS football coach, I'd KILL to have one of my kids hook up with Michigan.

Tremendous.

I find it interesting that he can subtly recruit while doing these clinics, for instance take the 10 minute mark (about), where Hoke describes his failings in preparing the post-Nat Championship d-line, but then also mentions that (I think I'm getting this right) all of the starting defensive players played in the NFL (I imagine practice squad could count as well).  Nice hidden line.

Can never seem to get enough of this guy. Brandon better be investing his Dominos money to make Brady Hoke clones for whenever he has to step down from coaching.
