Not that it needed any reinforcement, but random guy at college site giving "The Victors" some love.  Guy seems to be a Kentucky fan so not a homer call.  I do question Bama and OSU in his top 5 however.  My top 5 college fight songs

1. Victors (Greatest Team Ever)

2. ND March (Notre Dame)

3. Rocky Top (Tennessee)

4. Texas Fight (Texas)

5. Fight On (USC)

USC's band plays that stupid "Conquest" tune more than the fight song.  Just like Florida State with that Braves cheer, they play it after first downs, after a 2 yard run, after incolmpletions, after they have been sacked, after pretty much anything.  The other schools in the PAC 10 have written words to the song every time USC plays it...

"This is the only song we know, the only song we know, the only song we know..."

I also agree with those who commented on Rocky Top.  Death to that song.

The Victors is also the only fight song in the College Football Hall of Fame.  It's been there since 2002.  It was inducted the same weekend Phillip Brabbs made that kick against Washington.

The Victors was also a major inspiration for Notre Dame's "Victory March."

I used to attend quite a few UT games in the early to mid-90's and they remain an SEC team I can root for; HOWEVA, after hearing Rocky Top thirty times a half....well, it drives you to drink a little more.  Great college town, great stadium atmosphere, great team......great fight song played < 3 times a game.  Just sayin.

They're fight song is "Coming round the Mountain"....

That is brutal.

I know Ole Miss has some Ole Dixie song about the south rising again...which is quite backwards, redneck, and uncreative but coming round the mountain even worse.

Like having Mary had a little lamb or aluette as your fight song.
