Victor Viramontes workout routine video
Tebow.....but moar vicious
Except that he has a stronger arm and can hit receivers in stride. A trait which has been rare indeed at Michigan lo these many years.
3:10 what happens to that DB is vicious and hilarious
for the board:
'man, he looks like a robot'
mogsons' comments (4 oldest = young football players), 'wow. cool.'
Man, he has the footwork of Freddie Canteen from last years video. Impressive young man. Glad he's going Blue.

People can whine and complain about stars and rankings all they want. Harbaugh is bringing in football players with toughness and great work ethic. I followed Harbaugh the whole time at Stanford and San Diego, he had the same mindset and drive to make tough football teams. I can't wait to see Michigan back to being the big boys on the block.

Skillwise he reminds me of Manziel. We've got a good one folks so enjoy the ride

Yeah, that kid's a football player.
and nearly 2 minutes of impressive game highlight film. I'm not nearly expert enough to predict he's destined to be our starting QB, but he will play somewhere even if not as the QB---the kid shows that he's coming to Ann Arbor TO COMPETE. I can see why Harbaugh recruited Vicious Vic to be a Victor Valiant!
This is a good read and gives you some insight into Harbaugh's vision in finding hard nosed athletes that can play the game of football. He is the MacGyver of coaching.

"Bad Ass Periods"
a great read. Whether VV becomes the next Marecic or not, only time will tell, but there are a lot of similarities to that Stanford situation that might facilitate the need to use a few players on either side of the ball.
Peppers, for instance?
the field. I hope he returns punts and gets a few snaps on offense. I cant wait to watch him play safety in the Durkin schemes we have been reading about. His closing speed and instincts should make our run defense suffocating and present some nice pick-off opportunities. He is going to a difference maker.
Wow, that kid has something.
Our problems with small-town law enforcement are behind us, you guys.
Now, what about those small-time pizza lawyers?
In Ace's commitment post he mentioned that Norco has put out some decent talent to the PAC12, but some of these clips seem to be man against boys. Love his drive (both on film and in the gym).
in cal, meaning the largest schools.
Very high level of competition. I'm not saying it's the best in the country, but it's on par or above probably 90% of it. Big, big time. That is not an issue.
YES PLEASE

Will he have the Tebow problem....a gym rat that have to keep out of the gym because they don't want to get too big?
How did RRod not be at his doorstep everyday?
I think JH can do wonders for this kid, and he knows it. For the drive he has, it has to be for the next level, and knows that JH can get him there.
Umm, what?

We watch a five-minute video of workouts focused on QB performance as well as game highlights of him lighting it up as a QB, and he will spend his senior season for Norco amassing additional gaudy stats playing QB. We haven't seen a single second of either practice film or game film of him on defense, yet we're assured that it's just as likely he'll play LB or safety in college.
Right.
With all of the competition at QB if he wins the job it means he damn good. If he does not he looks like a good bet to see the field somewhere. Work ethic, toughness, and attitude will become a part of this program.
I see more Mariota than Tebow.
Yeah if he beats Gentry and Peters for the job we should be juuuuuust fine haha
I hope he stays on offense if he isn't the QB. I could see him as a speed TE kind of like (sorry, in advance) Aaron Hernandez. Short for a TE, but strong as hell and quick.
You definitely killed that comparison.

made the defender fall on his ass. Thanks for posting OP. Great video, and Victor looks much bigger in the gym than in the '70's pic at the top of the Hello post.
I've never seen that before...the safety look like he passed out while Vic was running at him.

I would love Harbaugh to do something similar to what Oklahoma did with the "Belldozer" formation with Blake Bell, Viramontes would thrive in that system.
Isn't he significantly faster than Bell? I thought they used Bell that way because his best asset was his size/power.

Vic's 40, 4.71
Blake's 40, 4.88
Viramontes has the speed advantage and I would say he is on par with size/power.
Was 6'6 250. Blake Bell was a short yardage guy, Vic has way more of a home run threat to him. While Vic has some highlights running guys over I don't think Blake Bell is the best comparison. Definitely a lot more fluid/athletic than Bell too.
Work out a couple times a week in Corona at Winners Circle while my boy does his speed and agility for baseball. Kid is very very intense and is tuff, he was to be was gonna go in as a QB
I also take my 7 year old to train at winner circle. Can also testify how hard this kid works. One of the owners at winner circle said that he is up to 220lb. He plays in a very good division that produces a lot of D1 athletes every year.
Your son with an offer for the incoming class of 2027! Keep up the good work!:-!
That you, Mr. Forcier?
or just run on home because there'll be no gummie bears for you!
Bad snap, recovers then hauls ass to the end zone. Hmmm...where have I seen that before?...
I could definitely see this guy leading us to a B1G title.
And throw?
