In the spirit of MOAR CONTENT, I present for your viewing pleasure a teaser released by AB-InBev for a commercial to be aired during next week's Super Bowl. Enjoy!

4 Million for a 30 second spot.  That ad ran 15 seconds so 2 Million for that particular piece of marketing genius for the spot alone - that doesnt include production costs and talent fee (which couldn't have been cheap).

Is it just me or does anybody else have a hard time connecting increased beer purchasing dollars to an ad showing Arnold warming up to play ping-pong?

The Big 3 domestics plus Labbat all run about the same, at least in SE Michigan. Regardless of price, I, like Mgrowold, don't get it. I can't remember the last time I was persuaded by a commercial. Maybe tone down the advertising budget and you'd see a decline in prices an an increase in sales?

MGrow - I really don't want to burst your parade or rain on your balloon, but, that is not how the creative and advertising costs work. The 15 second out take only costs a fraction of the total video production budget since the video was being shot anyway. As far as ad spots go, that depends on when and where you run the ads. This was probably an on-line teaser release which meant it cost nothing other than paying for video embedded banner ads. Pretty cheap compared to television spots.

Please, continue rant.

If I'm not mistaken, these commercials are supposed to be directed/produced by Reggie Watts who is a hilarious, yet bizzare comedian, to say the least.

This should be interesting, Arnold as the Bjorn Borg of the table tennis world. I am guessing that part of the inspiration for the look comes from Borg anyway. It's good to see him getting back to the screen in some capacity though -  hard to believe that he will be 67 years old in July.

That ALMOST convinced me to get up and go to the fridge and grab one of the Bud Lights my buddy left here a year ago.  Come to think about it, it did convince me to dump them out and at least get 10 cents for them.
