Very Classy Move by New Orleans Saints on Saturday

Submitted by JimLahey on

I didn't see this on the board but think it is worthy of knowing. The New Orleans Saints, for the playoff game against the Lions saturday, left a seat empty in the press box and posted a sign saying "The New Orleans Saints Honor the Memory of Tom Kowalski."

That is about as classy as it gets. They didn't have to do something like that. It also reminded me about Tom's writing and how I wish he were around to see this past season and the future for the Lions.

I didn't even realize he had passed away! Very saddened to hear this and what an extremely classy move by the New Orleans Saints!

My first thought was to assume you were being sarcastic as so many on this board are. Classy move indeed, i still dont like the saints and didnt before the game.

Doing it was classy.  Doing it when no one expected it is even more.  Obviously, the Saints actions are consistent with all accounts on Killer.  Class guy, well liked.  To the guy whining about the Saints throwing late in the fourth, obviously the Saints have more respect for the Lions and what they're offense is capable of than you.
