Hockey pet peeve: "when a teammate tips a puck in on you, which is exactly how my first collegiate goal against happened. Thanks, Copper."
Well, he was kicked out of school. That must have put him over the top on his application...
Well he was going to be forced to sit out for next season for violating team rules, does that count?
MOAR trouble plz!
How did that talk go?
Dumbtonio: We have no rules in our program, so you can never be suspended for violating them.
Cue Sparty mafia talking about their national marketing strategy.
Can we just hurry up and pummel those clowns yet?
Cue poster using childish and unclever nicknames.
I'm pretty sure Dantonio and Kittredge's father played college ball together, so likely MSU leniency or "national" recruiting acumen had little to do with it. If my dad pushed me to leave the wonderful confines of Vandy for the desolate field dotted with Stalinist architecture that Spartans refer to as a college campus I would not be pleased.
For the curious, this guy was a nondescript 3-star according to Rivals, Scout, and ESPN in the class of 2010. He was rated as a 3- or 5-tech guy but was recruited as an OL at Vandy. He's switching back to DL at MSU and will have 3 to play 3.
He was a 3-star, but not all that non-descript. He had offers from Notre Dame, Pitt, South Carolina and West Virginia, in addition to MSU and a handful of ACC and Big East schools.
He's not a guy that screams difference maker, but he's not a total nobody. He was the #13 player in NJ from Don Bosco Prep.
He had those offers and he picked Bandy? Don't get me wrong, Vandy is a great school, but more in the academics than the athletics (and if academics are imporant to him, what made him choose MSU for a transfer spot?).
And I know things have been slow as of late, but is this really of importance?
Plenty of guys transfer each year, this isn't news. I don't see forum topics about the mediocre recruits they've been getting.
That's exactly what I was doing when I saw your post.. nice work :D
stay classy sparty.
you can't put "sparty" and "classy" in the same sentence.
To change a Vanderbilt diploma for an MSU one?
Not a good idea
Not the kid's brightest move.
Sad to say, but if this kid wasn't playing football, he probably would not have made it into Vandy.
What's a little plagarism amonst friends?
