Edit: Too controversial, I get it. The type of post I made is not appropriate for this forum. That being said, I still think the aforementioned commentators are grade A dolphin punchers.

My self-esteem is directly related to my MgoPoints.
You son of a bitch....had to one up me, didnt ya? lol.

Nice. That actually was a good bit of satire. However, I think this board is wound up tighter than Rod Farva eating at a fast food restaurant. I don't know when its going to be, but sometime in the next three days Mgoboard is going to find a hole in his cup and and go apeshit.
..but I'll bet the team is a lot more "wound up" for Saturday. It's all good.
Yes, excellent satire. Not meant to be taken seriously. I'd compare to Swift's "A Modest Proposal," the classic satirical piece suggested eating infants as a solution to famine.
I do enjoy my Juvenalian satire, sprinkled with a healthy dose of crossing the line. It's especially entertaining to me when the reaction is calling out my Michigan man-ness and inferring that I'm on par with an MSU grad. I guess I'd be a good little "Michigan Man" if I simply went to Yost and yelled out strings of profanity when the opposing team takes a penalty. I'd probably come across as more clever in the eyes of some as well.
Excellent hyperbole, funkmob. I'd compare to Pryor's defense of Michael Vick, the classic hyperbolic piece suggesting that "everybody kills people, murders people, steals from people."
Well done.

Sportscenter.com raves: Sgt. Wolverine, "Michigan's biggest fan"!
First of all, Swift's satire is an attack on contemporary methods of rationalization. His approach was complex, managing to keep a reasonable tone even as he ventured into the absurd. This OP did nothing of the kind. All it did was skip straight to highly explicit barbaric activity.
Second of all, Swift was funny. The OP is not.
That story wasn't funny, it was just disgusting and like blueblueblue said, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the person who writes that sort of thing.
How about changing the story to, "Wilbon, Rosenberg, and Valenti have dolphin punching party".
This whole Freep Jihad thing reminds me of the Family Guy episode where Stewie ties up the family and Peter decides to come up with a rumor to allieviate the boredom. He said that Rob Schneider pays migrant workers at Home Depot to come home with him and choke him in the shower. Rosenberg said that Rich Rod is a dirty, cheating fraud.
But I'm leaning more towards "uh, gross," than "hilarious, brah."
Although to be fair, being that I'm not an MSU grad, I rarely lean towards, "hilarious, brah." But still.
The headline is supposed to read:
Valenti, Rosenberg and Wilbon Kill Stripper;
Rich Rodriguez Not Currently Said To Be Involved
Two thoughts:
1. Who is Drew Rosenberg?
2. Does the poster know the law of libel in Michigan?
Can't believe I didn't catch that. Apparently I had Drew Sharp on my mind.
As for libel, I didn't really consider it. Mostly because I just don't care. That being said, if my words can somehow get this blog in any trouble I'm more than willing to take it down or have it taken down for me.
... if you don't care.
You can Google "defamation per se" if you'd like; look at #4 on the list...
Just remember that hiding behind an "anonymous" posting doesn't mean you're necessarily anonymous for long:
That leg of lamb should be pretty damn tender.
What the Hell. -Jack Burton
Your point total astonishes me.
Stupid, not funny and OT.
Willie Heston - 72 touchdowns; 4 National titles; 43-0-1 record; All-American; Law Degree
A leg of lamb? Who was their accomplice, Fred Flinstone?
I'm not bothered by the fact that this is uncoothe, I'm more bothered by the fact that it's not clever or creative.
It manages to be highly vulgar and offensive without even managing to be in the least bit funny. I sincerely hope that you didn't go to Michigan, because if you did, it is a black mark on the school. Please don't post anything like this ever again.
Normally, I would not be so explicit in my criticisms, so as to avoid offending the author of the OP too much. However, as he goes out of his way to be offensive in the first place, I think its warranted.
Disturbed by 2 things:
1. Someone made up this sort of story - I want to be several degrees removed from the person who thinks these things
2. That someone was a Michigan fan
