As a fellow cancer victim that will find out Monday how mine is doing (has ben in remission) i pray for his recovery.  His family also needs our prayer.  God bless Vada.

Thank you very much.  The time between the tests and the results is very long and difficult.  You try to not think about it but it's hard.

I'm in Ohio too BTW......Hudson - just south of Cleveland & north of Akron.

My brother died of brain cancer in 2003.  I remember his fight very well.  Vada is showing that same kind of fight.

That being said, today's news is tough to hear.

However, miracles happen.  Matthew 18:20:  "Where two or more gather in my name, there I am with them."  Many, many prayers for Vada and that God's will is a full recovery and comfort for his family and kids.

Hebrews 11:1: "Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

in 1991 when I enrolled in the mba program.  One of the things that started that year was global citizenship and Vada was talking about how tough it can be for inner city youth and his work with the inner city.  Prayers and positive thoughts in his direction.

That stinks.  I saw Vada shopping at Meijer like 4-6 weeks ago, and he looked healthier than I had expected.  I was hoping his prognosis was looking better.  Good luck to him and his family.
