VA WR Quinta Funderburk to Arkansas
According to ThaRinger's Twitter (and a retweet by Tom) VA WR Quinta Funderburk has committed to Arkansas. Tough break after we just broke his top four, but we seem to have hit a resurgence of WR interest over the past few weeks. Gonna miss the pure awesomeness of the name, however.

I wouldn't care if he's was 2-star long-snapper... how can you not want a guy named Quinta Funderburk?

I would rather have Sammy Watkins myself.
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Sammy Watkins will commit to Michigan and then change his name to Quinta Funderbunk and we can all be happy.

I'm going to name my kid Fonquante Emojambat. The venn diagram of amazing names has to be almost entirely inside the venn diagram of elite athletes, right?

Just for the record, my last name isn't Emojambat--or is it...

I'd rather have Hakeem Flowers anyway. He's starting to put up Al Bundy type numbers..

Our chances with him are probably even worse than they were with Funderburk. With every passing day, I think our chances at Watkins are getting better and better. And if we fail to land him, it seems likely we'll just let Frost try out at WR first. Someone like Chris Gallon is also a potential addition to the class.

Al Bundy type numbers.

Good luck Quinta. How come Rivals has him at 6'5 while Scout has him at 6'3. Sort of weird.

The Hogs got 3 commits from 4-stars (Scout rankings) this weekend:

He doesn't have the hands of the Wisconsin commit Guenter Wackenbanger..

It would have been fun talking about him taking CB's to La Qunita.

Maybe I shouldn't say this, but do you guys ever see a recruit's name and think, "that doesn't sound like a guy who would end up at Michigan"? This guy was like that. Pearlie Graves, Munchie Legeaux...seems like southern guys with names of a certain funkiness tend to stay down south. HaSean Clinton-Dix doesn't sound like a Michigan player to me, though I hope I'm wrong. Oddly enough, though, I never felt this way about Shavodrick Beaver. He's different, somehow.
