I thought this was an appropriate time to start this thread with the pre game show starting.

OSU looks really great, but way too many folks in this thread are annointing them champs already.  It's a long season and VaTech will prove to be a pretty bad team.

don't play for our team. After less than one quarter of watching Ohio state play, you'd think these guys were better than the Patriots. And you've already anointed then champions of everything. wow.

out.

People need to stop conflating praising a team with surrender. It isn't. One can note a team's dominant play without conceding defeat to them.

Right now OSU looks like a complete and dominant team. Can that change? Certainty. Injuries, subpar play, etc. But right now and considering what they did last year, they look like a great team.

had strong academics?  Who in this conference greenlighted an ad about "40 percent more?"  Forty percent more than the name would imply, so we're 140% of our name???

Does that mean the PAC 12 only delivers 100%, and the Big 12 delivers 83.3%?

We need a damn good defense to stop this offense. Hope our LBs learn to tackle in space. Otherwise, we will be run over in November. We need Peppers in full flow by then.

This version of the spread is the perfect offense in my opinion. I love a good pro style attack, but this type of spread, at this level, is nearly impossible to stop.

And this is more scary.  OSU's schedule after this:

Hawaii, Northern Illinois, WMU, @ Indiana, Maryland, Penn State, @ Rutgers, Minnesota, @ Illinois before ending the season against MSU and us.

It wouldn't surprise me if OSU outscores their opponents this year even worse than 1995 Nebraska (638-174).

Apparently Herbstreit has it in his contract where he is assigned to every OSU game.  The guy is such a piece of shit.
