Some good things for having zero running game. The oline struggled obviously to open holes, however our RB's just don't see well, a few missed cutbacks that could have been huge gains. Rudock had two picks, Perry obviously messed up on at least 1 route. It's still a new system for everyone, I thought they showed poise and take away a TO could have won on the road against a decent team. I'm not too surprised, this about the score I predicted. I believe they will steadily improve. Work to be done by I'm glad Harbaugh is our coach, he'll get it done!

awaiting the analysis before damning Ruddock

Looked like 2 interceptions were on the receiver.

Sucks getting a shit ton of texts by my Iowa friends telling me they told me so regarding Ruddock.

I'm in Iowa too. People telling ou that are fucking numb to the sport. Rudock played fine. Really bad throw at the end, yes, but the missed deep balls I'm not sure were all on him nor onr or maybe even both of the first two interceptions. I look forward to Rudock progressing and being a winner this year. Not down on him at all.

Chesson was close to "Oh, wide open" on that one.  If Rudock puts a little more lob on the ball and lets Chesson adjust to it, it's an easy, easy throw and catch.  But Rudock threw it on a line, giving himself no leeway.

The second one was a  poor throw, but at least Rudock missed long where Chesson was closest to the ball.  Chesson only had a step or two on that one, and so it would have taken a good throw, which unfortunately Rudock didn't deliver.

Rudock also slipped on 3rd and 1, forcing the 4th & 1 on which Smith was stuffed.

it looked like Darboh lost his stride and wasn't running full tilt just before the goal line (maybe some contact with the DB), otherwise that pass may be on the numbers.  Curious what Brian will see with better replay options.  Also, the guys in the booth mentioned the wind several times.  Not down on Rudock so much as the offensive line (again).

That Darboh throw looked like he could have adjusted as well. WRs need to help out the QB, especially when we have no running game and they stack the box and blitz.

What happened to Drake Harris? Wasn't he supposed to be a Co starter?

Only worry about offense is the OL, hope its just learning a new running system and they improve week to week. Passing issues look correctable, all throws were to Perry a true freshman, and at least 1 looked to be a complete miscommunication between him and Rudock.

3 open receivers for touchdowns missed.Repeated missed holes for huge gains running the ball. Coaching is way better. Except for playing Gedeon on the second Utah possession. What happened to Wormley in the 2nd half? Drake Will be a difference maker when he comes back. Wish we would have gone to the 2 min offense earlier. Ugh.

Dede lacks vision.

Our receivers seem like they can play.

Qb and oline play was very inconsistent to say the least.

Jake but is indeed the truth.

Ty Isaac needs more reps.

We shot ourselves in the foot.

I want to say same old song and dance, but I at least feel this staff can improve on this performance, mostly bc we missed winning this game by a few plays in my opinion.

I was encouraged by this game. I know they lost and three interceptions are bad, but the offense show signs that they will be better. I believe they will get the proper coaching and continue to improve and gel. I trust this coaching staff. Michigan is going to get better.

very unhappy with the play of Rudock. Not only on the interceptions, but the lack of touch on the deep ball. If this year isn't going to be great why not play Morris or Malzone. I suppose the expectation is to win the B1G though, and if Rudock gives the better chance to win then I hope he remembers what it is to take care of the football.

Rudock's INTs, at least 1, were due to a true frosh receiver running poor routes.  Rudock, however, needs to come closer when the WR is running open by 5 yards.

Also, yeah they seem to be better coached this year.  Hottest of takes, I know.

Rudock bad, OL bad. Man, I really hope this is just Utah being a good team.

Butt and Darboh looked good. That's good. Smith looked good when he got a hole. But I'm not sure he's fixed the whole going into the wrong hole problem.

I trust Harbaugh to iron out the passing game issues. Run game still could use some work, but Utah isn't a bad defense, so I'm not ready to abandon all hope for the offense this year.

Can not hit the deep ball!!! We should have been up by at least 7 at halftime and then he missed another dee ball to Darboh in the second half. Our running backs missed a couple holes. The pass blocking was Great and So was Butt and Darboh. Not bad for a debut, turnovers....Ugh

wasnt very good, not at all. uM was worst, but Utah's Offense struggled and never found a rhythm. uM's garbage time TD may make a few folks feel like the excuses they offer are valid, but they are not. The D was stout, and smith is a tank, but UM could easily lose 6-8 games this year. Compared to the TCU vs. Minn. game this game looked like High School

Jesus fuck, for real? Are you Shane's dad? Maybe Harbaugh knows what he's capable of because, ya know, he's his coach.. and maybe he's seen film. Rudock is fine. 2 picks maybe not even his fault. The first deep ball had Chesson slow up a step. Partially his fault yes, but not wholly. Last drive looked good and Butt looked good because, well, Rudock got him the ball. There's many positives and Morris not showing up is one.
