Rudock killed us tonight, but the WR and Butt looked way better than I expected.  O-line didn't open many holes but I liked the fight.  The offense won't be explosive but we should be in every game this year.

Deveon is brutal. He must be the best in pass pro because he treats daylight like he is afuckin vampire. He is brutal. We need the drake, defenses have to respect his speed and cutting. Hopefully all is good with his acl. So disappointing still no qb or rb same as last year. The d has to be perfect and they were not. Honestly we have not had a passer since henne. Our receivers looked good and should have dominated.

for me; A RB that thinks he's a vampire. I lol'd. Mostly because it's totally fricking true, but yeah. Didn't have many real good looks, but still missed a lot of cuts. Isaac looks ok-ish. Seems to shy from contact and prefers the stiffarm-and-down routine, but had a burst out of the pocket. Green did what he always does; drop at the first contact.

I'm not even mad about this game. Under hoke we'd lose 27-0 in a hard road game not have a chance to send the game to OT with an onside kick. Beat Oregon State and UNLV and we'll get back on track. Rudock can't throw 3 interceptions again.

Disappointed in Smith, Rudock. Butt was excellent. Darboh solid. Chesson was open, couldn't get him the ball. Didn't watch o-line except for the one 4th down play where Kalis blocked no one and Smith got stuffed.

Perfect set and motion for a naked bootleg. Watch the D bite in the top right of your screen. It would then be a foot race to the first down marker with Rudock with the momentum going forward and the D having to come from a side angle. That would have been a first down. Smith...yea, I was jumping up and down that he didn't run to the sideline. The pick six doesn't happen if he makes that play.

Kenny Allen jacked up his route on 2 of those 3 ints. Maybe all 3. The final score would be different in a big way were those to not happen. Also, Rudock needs to settle a bit. 3 huge list TDs because of overthrown receivers. I haz sad.

The pick 6 was ALL Rudock.  The NB sat on the route and protected the sticks.  Rudock should have never even looked to his left because BOTH routes on the other side were WIDE OPEN!!!  I mean how do you see a linebacker give 20 bajillion yards of cushion presnap and not attack the match up.

The fact that Braden has held down the LG spot is worrying. If Jack Miller came back this would be a moot point. And then when the wide open holes were there, Smith blatantly missed them. There was a lot of "suck" to fix from last years team. It wasn't going to be an overnight fix. The more practices and more reps with this staff will mean vast improvement. Bowl practices will help too.

It's tough to win on the road against a good team, but too many mistakes and missed opportunities. Harbaugh called the only game he could. Keep it close and hope for a miracle.

Thanks, Al and Brady, for leaving us without a quarterback.

So much thanks.

Honestly, everything looked decent enough to win this game except the appalling QB play.

Shane must be absolutely terrible to not get into this game.

I don't know. The first INT I can definitely put on Perry. Maybe one of the others, too. Maybe. But missing the receivers for TDs was excruciating. I mean, at some point, when bad things keep happening in the passing game no matter the receiver and with decent protection, you've got to think it's on the QB. We were going to settle for a game manager, and he did not manage the game.

Smith and the oline, yes, they could use improvement. But even with their mistakes, lack of vision, lack of holes (some of which had to have been caused by the lack of respect for the deep threat in the passing game) - the RB and oline play was still good enough to put us in position to win the game. You can't say the same of Rudock.
