USMNT U23s v CUBA

Submitted by MDubs on

U23s take on Cuba tonight in the first game of Olympic qualifying.  Game is 8pm cst on Universal Sports Network and Mun2 (lol wut?).

I personally do not have either of those channels or a stream.  If someone has a stream, please share!

FYI: U23s will also have upcoming games on the 24th v Canada and 26th v El Salvador.  Highly recommend watching these guys if you can.  Last game they utilized a 4-3-3 and completely controlled play against Mexico, which was very fun to watch.  They play fast, agressive, and seem to be very well coached (much kudos to Caleb Porter)

I like the 4-3-3 and it seems like Porter likes his three forwards and wingers to be interchangable.

I'm just disappointed the Josh Gatt got called back to his club because they suffered injuries and needed Josh back to play for them.

I guess you can call it whatever you want, we're doing a good job getting up the wings, I'd like to see our ball movement a bit quicker in the middle.

I really like Jared Jeffries as holding midfielder.

Shit. I really like everyone on this team right now, maybe Im a homer but the US has a bright future.

I get the sense that the US talent pool is growing fantastically. I am excited for the future of more players than we have room for, so if just half of them reach their potential we should be a top 10 fifa team in 6-10 years.
