USC gets commitment from 13 year old

This is a joke, right? Does Kiffin not understand that he doesn't need to pull the same antics like he did at Tennessee (offering scholarship to Eric Berry's 14 year old little brother)? This is crazy; Kiffin is the biggest media whore of all time. USC doesn't need NCAA investigations to bring them down; Kiffin is going to do it all by himself.

Kiffin isn't an idiot. He just doesn't have the same set of ethics I do. He knows how important it is to be the first school to offer a recruit, the first one to "notice." For the next while now, that boy is going to think of himself as a USC quarterback, and when and if it comes down to choosing between USC and another school in four or five years, I'll bet USC has the edge.
I wouldn't offer him, though. It's important for this kid's education off the football field that he thinks for another couple of years that he actually has to work academically to get into college.

Congratulations Lane, you're a real winner. He's doing his absolute best to make college football recruiting as slimy as basketball recruiting.
This is really bad.

How the hell did RR miss this one? We're doomed!

Kid's mom is definitely a "Hostess"

People appreciate it when an older guy loves kids. The problems come when they get specific.
"I love kids!" Awesome.
"I love 13 year olds." Creepy.
(Credit to Demetri Martin... I think.)

...maybe Kiffen told him that USC would be off probation by 2015. Hell of a recruiting tool.
