USA vs Mexico soccer

Submitted by goblue85 on

There's a friendly match between USA and Mexico tonight at Mexico 8pm espn2.  The US all time is winless in Mexico.  I say its time for a change and a win tonight.   No dempsey or bradley tonight but will have donovan.   More younger guys for Klinesman squad tonight.   GO USA!

and hope this will put us on a streak of good play. Brek Shea's buildup was brilliant and luckily we smashed it home. Howard was playing like a man possessed for the last 10 minutes. Good result and always good to break a bad streak.

soccer is a sport where you can control the game, make 1 mistake, and lose.

To say that the US didn't deserve the win is ignorant and stinks of horse shit.  We played great defense (especially Geoff Cameron), Tim Howard made career-highlight saves, and Brek Shea made a phenomal play on the wing that led to a goal.

We didn't control the game, but we earned that W.

That was such bullshit by a bunch of putos.  May they blind themselves with their own lasers. So glad we won.

I suppose FIFA could fine the Mexican soccer federation, which could put pressure on the stadium to do something.

From USSoccer.com quotes:

U.S. goalkeeper TIM HOWARD On the distractions created by the crowd:

I think it's the less you pay attention the better. If you start calling attention to it, it seems like more lasers come out. Trying to get them to stop would be futile. It's part of the game now, you hope that the stadium and FIFA do something about it, but we don't expect it and just get on with it.
