USA vs Costa Rica

Submitted by uncle leo on

18 minutes in, USA has had some good chances. Pulisic had a really good one but screwed it up big time. Fabian Johnson back in midfield, haven't seen him in awhile.

Game has massive WC impact.

a couple of weeks ago, did I miss the section that said soccer is not OT? Cumong, let's keep the 24 hr period before our big opener pure, please.

Some awful defending from the US, and some squandered chances. Pulisic a little bit dangerous but not finishing. Way too many missed connections at the front. Should have had a penalty given on that Alitdore run though. Ream not impressing me to say the least.

Ream hasn't been that bad IMO, he's been having to cover for our left back a lot and done well passing. Cameron has been awful passing out of the back. We also need Dempsey in right now for Altidore. Wood has also looked really good IMO, just not making the right passes at the very end

meant 'MURICAN there.

Thanks for reinforcing for everyone here that soccer haters are self-important mouth-breathers with oodles of free time to whine about stuff they don't like.

That was an insane save by Navas back there.

I am a pretty big USMNT homer but they have looked like the better team tonight, unfortunately.

Hope they prove me wrong in the final 15.
