"Let's be honest, Michigan's win over Notre Dame (its only claim to fame this season) looks worse every week. The Irish are clearly nothing special. Yes, it was a great game. And because of that, it's the only thing in people's minds when they think of the '09 Wolverines. Well, that's a problem in perception, because, while better, Michigan isn't "back". It's just simply ranked higher because its record forced the pollsters hands. Michigan State is a team that's getting better week after week. If you compare their games against ND, Michigan State actually grades better because the Spartans were on the road, blew many opportunities and didn't have the zebras clearly on their side as Michigan did when it hosted Notre Dame in Week 2. Maybe Mr. Tolegian should stick to MLB editing for Fox Sports instead of filling in for college football. I love how he said MSU's victory over ND was more impressive even thoug they were without Allen and Floyd was hurt the majority of the game! When you are facing a team missing two of its best players It is hard to say that the win was more impressive.

I think it's funny how he said Michigan's WIN over Notre Dame isn't impressive because Notre Dame is nothing special, but MSU's LOSS is better because they blew it.

I think MSU is better than their record and that we're ranked more highly than we deserve, but this guy is a moron. Kentucky over Alabama?
RR just said in his pre-game interview that if Tate gets hit on the shoulder again it's going to be tough on him. That's stating the obvious, but it's an obvious point that most Michigan fans around here seem to be disregarding. There's no doubt that Sparty's main goal early in the game will be to hit that shoulder as hard and as often as possible, and I'll be surprised if Tate finishes the first half let alone the entire game. Winning on the road will be hard enough even with a healthy Tate, but if he gets banged up again it'll all be on the shoulders of Shoelace and Sheridan. Given our porous defense, that's an unsettling prospect.
