Up four about midway through the second half.
spoiler alert: i linked this
Definitely want OSU to win as sick as that sounds
You shut your whore mouth.
Seriously, though, the hate meter just doesn't go off for the MBB team nearly as much as football. Still.
Ill wash it out with soap
The correct way to phrase this is that you definitely want Iowa to lose.
Loss would really help Michigan in the long run... But I can't root for Ohio State either!!!
It does feel good to control our own density though...
Well we don't entirely control our own density. Our bones are pretty much as dense as they're gonna get.
You are......my density.
If the buckeyes hold on and we take care of business tomorrow, we could deliver the knockout punch to the hawkeyes this weekend. Would put Michigan and Michigan State 4 clear of the field.
Ohio State eFG% - 56.82%
Iowa eFG% - 42.55%
Ohio State OREB% - 16.67%
Iowa OREB% - 40.00%
Ohio State free throw rate - 22.47%
Iowa free throw rate - 25.53%
OSU also has 10 turnovers to Iowa's 12 turnovers.
Iowa looks like shit. And I want them to win. I don't think they'll be winning the conference at this point so I'm personally not too threatened by them. I also just enjoy seeing Ohio lose, lose, lose more.
Does Dan dakich hate Amir Williams so much?
He needs to get off his di-...off his back.
Well, if the ESPN box score is correct, Williams has zero rebounds tonight.
he isn't Aaron Craft.
An Iowa loss would give us some separation, but I just can't cheer for the bucks.
Your title makes me half glum :/
Ugh. I liked it better when Ohio was in free-fall and headed for the NIT.
I'm not worried about Iowa catching us. Their remaining schedule is too difficult. I have no problem rooting for them.
Interestingly they have not been able to hit a three. I want Iowa in this one but it looks like OSU is going to take this. They've recovered nicely.
I like Dakich but he has a complex against criticism.
Yeah, back to back wins at Wisky and Iowa is pretty solid. Obviously the Big Ten seems to be a crapshoot but OSU's remaining schedule isn't that daunting on paper - only 3 road games (Illinois, PSU and IU) and 5 home games with MSU and UM being the only top teams left. The other home games are Purdue, Minny and Northwestern).
uh, uh, uh...NO!!!!
CAN'T DO IT!!!
They've managed to make Aaron Craft an offensive superstar lol
This was never an upset alert. OSU been in control for most of this game.
Completely serious question: if Aaron Craft told Dan Dakich he could give him head, does he turn him down?
still win the league.
Iowa is 2-17 from downtown. Guh.
Why couldn't they save this for this weekend
they were a week or two ago. I hope it is short term.
Down six, with 10 seconds left? Time to drive the lane and shoot and off-balance layup, of course!
and then there were 2
Easy, brah. Long way to go.
Rooted for OSU and I felt dirty. This really helps UM because I think the winner of the big10 will
have 4 losses, and now likely wont be Iowa.
OSU is playing well, as much as it pains me to say it. They're long, athletic and winning hustle plays...definitely playing to their strengths. Iowa certainly helped tonight by doing their best Purdue impression from 3, but I'm expecting a dogfight when we go to Cbus.
I want it to be our game tomorrow already, get the nasty taste of Indiana out of our mouths. Hopefully we get a nice crisp game, flowing offense. Seem to have been a bit lackadaisical and turnover-prone in our last two outings.
Didn't really root for OSU per se, but it was good to see Iowa lose in terms of Big Ten standings. It is firmly between Michigan and Michigan State and we have a home date with them, perfect.
This game was on WFAN radio here in the NY/NJ area. That is our local sports radio. I can't remember a midwestern college game ever being on our station. Just seemed out of place. Weird.
The Iowa game looks a little bit easier but all of a sudden the OSU game seems to be leaning towards OSU. Hard to predict anything in this B1G 10 season.
does everyone outside a healthy msu and maybe michigan just kind of suck?
What would SEC football fans say?
seems to me like big ten has a lot of good teams and not many great ones....
Can we just call them Ohio State already?
Wisconsin and Iowa just had bad shooting nights.
Iowa was 3/20 from 3 point range.
Wisconsin was 3/17 from 3 point range.
This isn't Ohio State turning a corner, it's everybody focused too much on wins and losses more than quality of play.
Welp, this will just have to do...
