It will be interesting to see how the Playoff Committee considers Wisconsin when they are undefeated going into the B1G Championship. Their schedule;

Utah State, FAU, BYU, NW, Neb, Purdue, MD, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota. We will potentially be the closest thing to a signature win......

This big ten is getting the old SEC treatment. You don’t drop far if you lose to another B1G team. Perks of being in the hardest division in college football, I guess.

Seems like more of a courtesy nod than anything else. Based on our performance last night, we shouldn't be ranked. We should probably be in the 25-30 range.

I am honestly kind of impressed that the Sports Information Director poll still has us ranked, but then this is the poll that always seemed to give teams a nod now and again. I assumed this morning we would fall out of the AP poll, although according to AP Poll Tracker, we did get three #25 votes against 58 writers who had us out of it.

We're 27th in the AP Poll.

If we beat Rutgers, we'll probably be #23-25 next week just by virtue of teams losing and, if not, if we beat Rutgers AND Minnesota, we will 100% be ranked by the time we go to Maryland.

If Michigan wins their next three games, we're in the Top 20 heading to Madison. From there....we'll see.

Agreed.

No reason not to be 8-2 going in to Madison and probably around #20 or so.

A couple home games that should be wins and opportunities to shore some things up on both sides of the ball, then a winnable road game before the two tough ones to end the season.

We have a great shot of being 8-2 and ranked in the 15-17 range with a chance to save the season at Wisconsin and vs Ohio State. We matchup well with Wisconsin. Not-so-much against Ohio State. Worst things have happened than 9-3, 6-3 in the conference with 60 freshmen/sophomores.

In 3 weeks we will be 8-2 and back inside the top 20. Rankings don't mean much the rest of the way, just want the young guys that will lead us to a title next year to improve, and the few seniors to impress the NFL scouts.
