Updated Roster
I believe the roster has been updated - check it out

Ken Wilkins is getting big (280 lbs now and listed as a DT)
Chris Bryant checks in at 341 while Tony Posada is 338, those are big freshmen.
Courtney Avery "bulked up" by...6 pounds. I guess every little bit helps.
For a 5'11" CB, 6 pounds isn't bad. At that position, you need to be careful of adding too much weight such that you lose speed. Provided he stayed lean, and it's all muscle, 6 pounds on his frame could make a difference.
Nate Allspach Te #40 a beast
Hey Nate, welcome to the board.
taboo to post "lol- type" replies. I literally guffaw/snorted so loud and hard on that one that my ears plugged and I was seeing spots a bit. Kind of a no-no in my office to just blast out laughter so trying to keep that one in felt worse than keeping a sneeze in. That was a gem, icefins.
25 | Kenny Demens | LB | 6-1 | 248 | RS JR | Oak Park, Mich. (Detroit Country Day) |
That is what I like to see. Perfect size for ILB!
He was 250 (when I checked for an update this morning) so it sounds like he's maintaining well, maybe getting a little leaner and quicker.
Barnett 6'5 280?! That's a whole lotta man to take down right there.
Can anyone ever remember a 280 pound pass-catching TE? I can't, which leads me to think that he may be moving to FB at some point. Or, just be the "blocking" TE. Either way, he is approaching OL size.
Chris Barnett is almost 280. Needs to drop some pounds.
talked to him briefly to ask for an autograph for my son (truly, it was for my son)... he is big, and the weight does not look all good.
Information.
Very nice.
Yeah. He had a knee surgery in December I believe and heard he ballooned. But I hadn't thought 280 type balloonage. Yesh...

On the plus side, has anybody else seen the picture of Curtis Grant (5 star #2 player in nation, best OSU recruit) on Bucknuts? Dude has tits. Talk about ballonage.
is discussed in his interview over at TTB:
http://touchthebanner.blogspot.com/2011/07/getting-to-know-chris-barnet…
"I came up on the spring game, and I was 295 [lbs]. Right now, I'm 272. Coach wants me to be 280 -- no [not any] more than 280."
Also, people seem to forget that he's coming off ACL surgery. I would guess that yes, some of that is bad weight, given that he's only 80-85% (his numbers). I hope he redshirts this year, recovers, rehabs and gets in great shape for next year.
At 341. That is a large man. Also Cam Gordon is up to 222 from 207.
is up to 234 and officially listed as a TE.
They want him at 255-270 for TE
The other LBs have also bulked up some. M Jones is up to 224, Ryan to 230, Evans to 237. At least we won't be stuck with a bunch of safety-size guys at LB this year.
Either one of the two's not turning any heads, or there's no faith in either. Seemed like the staff was pretty high on Ryan after the spring game, so I wonder if TT is a non-factor??
Mods...could you ask David Abluf why two defensive players who look to currently be on the 2nd team have the same number?
1 more burrito to get to 270?
His coffee kicked in just before the weigh in.
The only question I have is does 6'1 241 lb. Gibbons move to MLB or FB?
Maybe he thought he could be some more weight behind his kicks...
Rivas was chunky, but near automatic from inside the 35 yard line. I'll take it.
For all the shit Michigan fans gave him in his time here, there isn't a single person who wouldn't take him back right now.
That'd be great if the coaches moved him to FB. It can't be *that* hard of a position to learn, and then he'd actually be useful instead of just taking up a schollie for standing there on the sidelines while Wile does the job he couldn't do.
is only at 208. I thought he was bigger than that. I'm curious to see his speed if he gets the chance to play this year.
If he's playing Free Safety, that's not a bad number.
is listed at 241? I guess I never noticed he was this big before. That's pretty large for a kicker
Too bad he hasn't been able to kick like Sebastian.
Rivas is unimpressed.
Which will in turn be a good test for our defense in practice.
Dude is 6'5", 333 and a weightlifting beast. Technique will take a while but the dude seems like a monster.
There is another walk-on OL from Ann Arbor Huron @ 6-3, 314. Hopefully he can be part of the walk-on crew that porvides depth and competition.

Still a bit to go. Isn't Wisconsin all like 320's and 330's? There's a reason why it takes a lineman like 4 years to get playing time there. They add A LOT of beef on them.
Average O-Line weight is 297 pounds. Not quite Wisconsin territory but pretty damn solid.
Crazy to think he came in at 263.
I've heard Bryant is really out of shape at 341. Mike Martin up to 304, Lewan at 302, and Schofield at 298! Also impressed with Cam Gordon getting up over 220.
Cam looks like a beast... and both were really nice when my wife asked for their autographs for my son (really, I swear the autographs were for my son!)
