I would love that bracket. Memphis would be tough but I like our chances. And Syracuse, duke, and Indiana we match up well against all of them, or at least better than the rest of the team at those seeds.

You don't mean that you think that some of those "charges" they get are actually flops, do you? I'm shocked and scandalized at the suggestion. It is like you think that Duke should actually have to play by the same rules as everyone else.

Next thing I know, you'll say that they shouldn't automatically get a 1 seed every year, no matter how mediocre their season . . . .

Memphis already this season.  However, this isn't exactly a cupcake 2nd round matchup.  They are long and athletic.  That's the type of team that can and will give Michigan problems.  Although I believe Michigan could beat them again if this matchup does happen, this is far from a dream match up.

It'd be weird if we played Memphis and Duke just like at the start of the season- but I think that part of the bracket looks pretty decent for us if it happens like that.

Yeah I hate Duke just like everyone else- but enough with the refs favoring them stuff.  Fans see what they want to see and everyone hates Duke so 50-50 calls are all horrible calls in fans eyes similar to how any close call in a Michigan game that doesn't go our way was clearly bad officiating...

I live in ACC country and see Duke play a lot.  What you don't always see on TV is Coach K constantly in the refs ear during timeouts.  He jaws them to death throughout the game until the calls start going his way.  He also clearly teaches his players to flop which is no secret.  So while I understand that you're tired of hearing people complain about it, fact of the matter is they have a very valid point.  Unfortunately I don't ever see this changing.  That's one of the ways he gets a competitive edge and it works.

This is why IMO Lunardi is overrated.  The committee has for years tried to avoid rematches of the regular season.  Michigan surely won't be in a bracket where they would have 2 rematches of the regular season before the regional final.  I can't believe that ESPN doesn't have someone on staff to research that and tell Lunardi, hey this won't work.
