I think 2 and 3 are close. The actual option will just be a barrage of fumbles. But playing O'Korn like an extra running back might be our best bet. That mixed in with just bombing it to DPJ twice per quarter with our fingers crossed. 2 FB sets (Hill, Poggi, and Mason rotating to stay fresh) and O'Korn pushing behind them. 3ish yard gains all day and keep their offense off the field and our defense fresh. 7 - 3 we win.

Listen, maybe JH is taking a page out of the Ferentz playbook.  Maybe O'Korn has been trolling and will come out and torch OSU on Saturday, with plays we've never seen, doing things we didn't think he could do.  It's possible.

Trying to stay positive here.

Not looking good. I believe Jim Harbaugh will have this team ready to play. No doubt the defense will keep it close, but they will tire out if John goes 3 and out on every drive. We have to be able to throw down field. If not, it's going to be a long day.

Speight is probably lighting it up in practice.  He's going to enter the stadium on a pale horse with Hades following him and the buckeyes will tremble in his presence.

Michigan - 52

OSU - 7 (and sent to hell)

I'm not very thankful for that update.  However, what would the timeline be to exit from the protocol?  Harbaugh said Peters has to do cardio one day and get a sweat going.  Come back the next day and check the symptoms.  Then he needs to lift and come back the next day and check the symptoms.  There must be a minimal # of day to the protocol right?  Maybe Peters is nearing the end of the minimum stay and will be cleared in the next day or two.

Don't know what it means to be in the "protocol", but isn't possible that he remains in "protocol" until fully cleared?  That is he could be working out today with the possibility of being cleared tomorrow?  That being said, I assume/hope that they are erring on the side of caution.

Has to rest 24 hours after he's out of the protocol.  Best case is if he's out tonight he'd practice /walk thru on Friday.  Doubt he comes out tonight though, will be checked again tomorrow.  Basically, Peters isn't playing, and he shouldn't be allowed to play if he's not going to practice at all and is still showing concussion symptoms today.

There is a five day concussion protocol.  CDC website has good information on it.  The point is to avoid 2nd impact syndrom.  Most states have the 5 day protocol mandated in law.  Youth sports coaches, you need to know and follow the protocol or you could be fined.  USA football also has info on concussion protocol with their "heads Up" training.

One of these days, and to your point, perhaps it is even Saturday (not likely, but hope springs eternal, right), someone on the roster plays the game of their lives and then credits "those assholes at MGoBlog" for inspiring them to do so. It will be at that point where the blog will have achieved its ultimate goal of fucking up in reverse.

bowl game.  OSU's D line is by far the best Michigan would have faced this year.  Even if Peters is cleared of concussion protocol I would not have him on field.
