It hasnt been long enough for ppl to forget about this site...

Monterey, Ca is interesting though... I'm sure this isn't CC related, but I can hope until it's proven otherwise..

Seemed like only yesterday we were tracking U-M planes.

for this kind of meeting...

This is Michigan. We don't do subtle. Making moves and stirring sh't up since 1817.

It's Jackson, TN.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:09 PM ^
That jet has departed Jackson and is now flying on to Monterey, CA.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:04 PM ^
That jet is currently leaving Tennessee on it's way to Monterey, CA...WHICH IS NEAR THE BAY AREA. They are going to get Harbaugh /s

There's an airport in Starkville and several closer than Jackson. Any airport can handle a small private jet. U of M doesn't have an A380.

Looks like a different plane than last time. Also it's in the air currently going to california..
October 27th, 2014 at 3:06 PM ^
only airport big enough to handle this sort of plane close to starkville, msGolden Triange Region Airport (GTR) and its 8000ft runway beg to differ. (It's 105 miles closer to Starkville)

I thought the Golden Triangle was in SE Asia...
I bet Groupon Goods will offer a "deal" to the Mississippi version instead, for like $1,500pp.

That jet was out in Monterrey on 19 October, too.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:31 PM ^
Its almost like Monterrey is a really nice part of the country where rich people with private jets like to go.
Or you know, HARBAUGH BABY!!!

Who cares what's unprofessional? The quicker we get rid of Hoke and Brandon and bring in their replacements the better off we'll be. If Dan Mullen wants to talk now then cool.

So the UM plain tracking references are new to me, but this is hilarious.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:08 PM ^
That's not Michigan's jet.
Michigan's jet has maize and blue on the nose of the plane.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:13 PM ^
N582CJ appears to be based in, or spend a lot of time at, Willow Run according to FlightAware. So, ya, I think it's a U of M jet.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:18 PM ^
It belongs to someone else.
This is Michigan's plane.

Because big ballers with private jets probably don't spend any time in Ann Arbor, especially in the fall, rubbing elbows with other big ballers.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:22 PM ^
I would be very surprised if the university actually owned a private jet. My guess would be they are free to use the many executive aviation services that exist.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:09 PM ^
There are many reasons why this makes no sense.

Nice Try, Wolverine Devotee.
edit: Well, this joke has reached its expiration date.

alerts are fun, but hard to believe it's come to this.

Fixed it for you.

what is going on here? Please get a new coach...please get a new coach...pretty please..
October 27th, 2014 at 3:11 PM ^
this airplane has nothing to do with the University of Michigan in any capacity.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:13 PM ^
as someone noted, Starkville has an airport that can handle executive flights. Athletic teams use Tupelo for larger aircraft for both trips to Ole Miss and Miss State.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:11 PM ^
There are quite a few folks in Ann Arbor that own private jets. Wouldn't UM lease one rather that use a university jet (if in fact that is a UM plane) in the best interests of confidentiality?
October 27th, 2014 at 3:12 PM ^
The same plane is currently on its way to Monterey, CA.
It's probably Brandon screwing with us - I wouldn't put it past him.

Is MGoBlog really the sports arm of The Onion?
October 27th, 2014 at 3:13 PM ^
So if that's a Michigan jet, which one is this?
October 27th, 2014 at 3:51 PM ^
I've just about had enough with these wise guy millionaires who think they can screw with our heart strings by flying around the countries in planes with this color scheme thus confusing the fine folk from Farmington who frequent this site.
Damn you all to heck.
(just in case /s)

that one has been in san fran for like 14 days. Or Lax. Or somewhere.

You're all wrong. We're first going after a new AD. Since the previous CEO of Domino's didn't work out for Michigan, we are flying down to the Bay Area to go after Linda A. Lang. AKA CEO of Jack in the Box.
Monster Tacos for EVERYONE.
