know the callsign that aircraft operates under? Or the aircraft serial number?
October 27th, 2014 at 3:08 PM ^
The tail number is right there by the... TAIL!
N582CJ
Per Flightaware, it hasn't been in MS in the last week, and is actually currently en route to Monterey, California from outside Memphis in Jackson, TENNESSEE (not Mississippi).
October 27th, 2014 at 3:11 PM ^
just found that. The Monterey, Califormia piece is the more noteworthy piece of news and the aircraft took off about 5 min ago. Originally I couldn't see the picture, but now I can.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:29 PM ^
I am in Monterey. Maybe they are heading to Carmel to interview Clint Eastwood for the AD position. I am onboard if Pres Schlissel decides to go in that direction.

Do you coach football? Rather, Can you coach anything resembling football?
October 27th, 2014 at 5:52 PM ^
Anyone else worried that this plane is spending way too much time in Tennessee? The thought of Butch Jones coaching at Michigan is nauseating. Moore-Murrell (KMOR) is only 15 mins from Knoxville, TN.
October 27th, 2014 at 10:14 PM ^
Perhaps Brandon likes Branson
October 28th, 2014 at 10:38 AM ^
Branson Missouri is nowhere near Knoxville TN.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:42 PM ^
I only want the middle aged Clint. Not the old guy who talks to empty chairs.
October 27th, 2014 at 4:02 PM ^
Except that Codger Clint turned out to be right on the money with that speech.
October 27th, 2014 at 4:11 PM ^
down boy. Stay off the "couch".

Athletic Director Eastwood at his first U of M game as hears the piped in music:

Might have been reacting Devin' s shotput pick.

Watching Season 4 of The Walking Dead with my son on DVD- damn if old Clint wouldn't need ANY make up to be a zombie
October 27th, 2014 at 3:46 PM ^
It took off from Jackson, TN and is now on the way to Monterey, CA.
Can't understand why it would be in Jackson, TN. Certainly not football related at the HC to AD level.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:49 PM ^
Flying into Monterrey would be a stealth way of talking to Harbaugh instead of flying into San Jose or some other airport around the bay.
October 27th, 2014 at 4:20 PM ^
I think a more stealthy move would be to not fly around in a private jet with your logo and colors painted on it.
I'm going to say this plane sighting means nothing.
October 27th, 2014 at 7:36 PM ^
You're no fun! :P
October 28th, 2014 at 1:07 AM ^
Dream on ! lotsa airports around here that can handle a plane like that without raising suspicion. Livermore is about 40 mi out of SF and would be the best cover ( "just talking science at LLNL " ). No this is somebody playing Pebble Beach.
October 27th, 2014 at 4:02 PM ^
Monterey California is about as noteworthy as a flight going to North Bend Regional Airport in Oregon.
(It's rich people going to play golf, folks)
October 28th, 2014 at 11:27 AM ^
North Bend is in Washington, about 30 miles east of Seattle. Bend is in central Oregon.

During the last coaching saga, this plane flew from Baton Rouge to Monterrey, CA. Caused quite the stir...
What's interesting is that the plane was in Monterrey a week ago. Flew back to Willow Run on the 19th.
Coincidence?
October 27th, 2014 at 6:52 PM ^
I don't know how long it was in Monterrey, but it left on the 19th....the same day the 49ers were playing the Broncos in Denver

Flight tracker!! Flight watch!! New Carr with Les Miles, BLAH BLAH!! On a serious note, I'm glad this is happening. I enjoyed the last plane party.
October 27th, 2014 at 3:31 PM ^
Don't forget " why settle for 'les' when you can get 'rich.' "
October 27th, 2014 at 3:52 PM ^
Me too. I started following MGoBlog the last time we were watching FlightAware every 10 minutes. (I guess I joined a few months later.)
Anyway, this is nice familiar territory. Great way to get your mind off of the crap on the field.
October 27th, 2014 at 4:01 PM ^
I joined for the first coaching search in 2007. It's a zany time, those coaching searches.
Hadn't ever seen one, now this will be my third in 7 years. It's old (mad) hat.
October 27th, 2014 at 4:35 PM ^
lurker back in the plane tracking days, but thoroughly enjoyed the flight tracker. Oh the possiblities... quesition though - if it's not DB who's meeting with potential coaches, who is it?

6.6.6, the number of the beast poster
October 27th, 2014 at 6:02 PM ^
that was the number of days since we won a football game that mattered.
