Thanks for the heads up. I'm curious to see Hardaway's play.

He did really well. I'm excited to watch how he plays out in the next couple of years. And he's definitely got the shooting skill and confidence that a Beilein-coached offense needs. Watch out for Novak's dunk toward the end of the game, it's great.

It's very strange to see such an athletic player in a U of M basketball uniform. Harris and Sims were great college players but neither was the sick athlete Hardaway is.

It was't that long ago that we used to have one of the most athletic squads in the conference, year-in and year-out.

Awesome! I mean tto catch this game live, but I missed it. BTN is ok when they aren't completely fucking up football coverage...

I hope they don't edit out the sideline reporter segments. They were priceless.

Thanks for the heads up. Watching the highlights on mgoblue I was impressed (obviously -- they're highlights after all). I am curious to see how the defense looked. From the highlights it appears Michigan really tried to score in transition as they had numerous baskets on outlets that led to fast break points.

I was at the hockey game so I didn't get to watch the BBall game. How'd we look?

Put it down in the win column

I hope it's the same students who announced the exhibition, those guys were classic, easy to tell they were a little wet behind the ears.

Thanks for the heads up.

Isn't the game supposed to be on now? They are showing a John Wooden Icon presentation.

A bit of a delay, but it's on now

Does anyone have a link to an online feed of BTN ( a free one :) )?

We aren't really going to have to call him "Hardaway Jr" for 4 years, are we? Hardaway is good enough. Everbody knows who dad is.
Junior can play. I like it.

It's what he goes by - it's even on his jersey. We called Bernard Robinson Jr. that for four years, even though his dad wasn't famous.

The student announcers in this broadcast were painfull to my ears. The team looks good against that high school team level competition though.

Relax..I think it is fantastic they do these student productions because it gives the kids a chance to work in a professional setting. Half of the students working the production are probably going into something else and its just a hobby. Their work (along with the work from other Big 10 schools' students) allowed you to be able to watch the game. Show a little appreciation.

1. SC Upstate is possibly the worst division I team I've ever seen. They would finish in the lower half of the GLIAC
2. Obvious: Darius Morris and Tim Hardaway were stars, and will continue to be the keys to a successful season. Morris was constantly pushing the ball, which led to easy buckets, and his combination of size and speed in concert with his willingness to dish should lead to some open looks. Hardaway is going to be a stud. Not only is he being forced into being one, he appears to have the talent to do it. His jumper is silky, I thought he made good decisions passing, and again his size is an asset both offensively and defensively. My favorite thing about him was when he posted up his 5'9" defender and put in a 5 foot turnaround -- veteran move.
3. Our bigs are green. They need to get experience, not to mention put on 30 lbs of muscle apiece. They couldn't finish against SCU then big 10 season is going to be a struggle. I think Morgan has the most potential to help this year -- he's physically there, and heres to hoping he can be a (very) poor man's Jordan Williams from Maryland.
4. Evan needs to slow down a little bit. His decision making was poor, but with coaching and experience I'm confident it will improve.
Overall a solid opener, and I'm pretty excited for the rest of the year if only to see this team grow and improve game in and game out

Hardaway is the truth
