Bacon. John U. Bacon. U is in Utah. Johnny Utah played football at Ohio State. I believe what this all means is that we will beat Ohio State this year and go to the Rose Bowl, the same Rose Bowl that Johnny Utah blew his knee out. It also means that I need help. Science?

bullpoop on the board between now and September. People advocating constraint will get negbombed for their negativity; the sunny optimists will get negged for. . . well, irrational exuberance. The twain ain't gonna meet too often. So lemme just say this:

I think that the Maize and Harblue will kick the pants right offn' the Utesticles deep into the fourth quarter. . . when the home team will stage a crazy turnaround and beat us by a bucket at the buzzer. Vegas will commit collective harakiri.

Bc we have one of the best coaching staffs in college football. Harbaugh is a mastermind and has many months to prepare for one team. The offensive line / running game will be very good. The defense is very experienced, and should be quite good. This team has something to prove, and there is a lot of talent from top to bottom... Have you not heard of jake butt or Ian bunting? I'm thinking your a glass half empty type of guy. Have faith, this team will no longer be horrendously coached, and that in it of itself is a huge positive.

Or the same guy who has now torn his left ACL TWICE, will miss spring practice, and honestly being back in time for fall practice would be an great recovery time for him. I wouldn't be so confident that Drake Johnson is our starting back. There isn't telling if he will be the same type of back after his 2nd ACL year/surgery as he was before. He will be behind developmentally, conditioning wise, and he will be limited in his knowledge of the playbook (on account of having it, but not practicing it).

That's what I see as well. People seem to forget Green was averaging 5.7 yards a carry prior to his injury. Adding a back like Isaac who is great catching the ball out of the backfield as well as being a good runner should compliment Green well. Johnson was good in November, but I'm not putting confidence in a players ability to return to form after a second ACL tear on the same knee.

I don't know much about Utah, but a quick glance at Rivals shows that they're losing a lot of starters on D.  They lose 3 of 4 starters in the secondary and 2 of 4 on the D-line.  They do return a lot of O (only losing 1 O-line, 1 TE and 1 WR).
