Uniformz!

HGI's facebook page posted pictures from the AFCA and it found these 2 pictures... I'm hoping they just put a Michigan helmet on top of a standard jersey but Maize Jerseys with Blue Pants...

Don't neg me to death, but I don't hate it.  I'd be fine with it for one game, possibly as an away alternative while playing at Ohio.

were the ND old school unis not bumble bees? I'm a little hazy. Actually liked the ND unis and detested the MSUs. These are not quite as execrable, but don't look like Michigan uniforms, or particularly appealing uniforms, either.

design.   It looks decent, though.  If we must use them, I say do it for the ND game.  Seems to have been a fairly good luck charm thus far.

Absolutely love it!!!

First Maize jersey since 1928 against navy.

Will add to my growing collection.

Just a guess, but isn't there a good chance that Riddell makes our helmets, but, as all jerseys are produced by Adidas, they can't use the full Michigan uniform in what is essentially an advertisement?

I'm almost certain this is the reason behind this.  After doing a quick google search for Riddell ads and brochures, they have no actual team specific jerseys to go along with the helmets.  I'm sure a close picture of the front of the jersey would show no Adidas logos.

I was thinking along similar lines. At least from the pictures here, can you even tell if the uniform is Adidas? This is a Riddell trade show booth - I highly doubt Michigan would unveil planned alternates in such a forum.

I suppose it's possible that the jersey is a rejected / proposed alternate jersey, but it seems more likely they just grabbed something handy that went with the helmet. Maybe it's a high school uniform from somewhere?
