Uniformz (Design ideas not official)

Submitted by Finance-PhD on

First of all, this is in no way official. A writier at TFM dug around and found a graphic designers concepts at how schools could update uniforms.

Here is a link.

I am not a big fan generally but I know people do like uniformz.I am not too old but I fall on the old foggie side of many changes in football so I will leave it to others to explain how wonderful showing the state of Michigan on the uniform will rock.

Recruits would love these jerseys, we would stand out and nobody could mistake whose jerseys they would be walking sown the street. They could be almost as iconic as the winged helmet.

Your right nobody chooses a school over the jerseys but a fanbase can grow because of the cool uniforms. When I was growing up I lived five miles away from ND and I hated there colors. One of the reasons when I was five years old to like Michigan was because of the helmets. So if a recruit likes our school because of our jerseys when they are younger maybe it will have an effect on their recruiting process.

Those are absolutely Horrible!!!!! I'm sure as a Penn State fan he would love to see Michigan fans in those, as I'm sure every other fan base would too. Personally I'd laugh at me too if I was wearing one of those.

Looks like A&M got attacked by a giant rogue typewriter.  In all seriousness, someone needs to learn about perspective, and get something more powerful than MS Paint.  Even then they would still be stupid, but at least it wouldn't look like something done by a 5th grader.

on anyone but Michigan for laughs.

Wow, those are ROTFLOL bad.

Maybe a team could punk their freshman at the home opener by having the freshman lead the charge out of the tunnel.  Then the upperclassmen just turn around and go back to the locker room to change.

I think they are fun, I don't understand why everyone has to be so negative. If they are worn on Saturdays, then fuss, but can't everyone just be less serious?
And by the way, I've been on recruiting trips with kids, and heard the convos they have. They love uniform(z), and they love Nike. They aren't decision makers but "cool" matters when you are considering every school in the nation.

These were created years ago and have looked through quite a bit of Mr Design Junkie's stuff in a can't-stop-looking-at-this-train-wreck sort of stupor. They are, hands down, the worst uniform designs I've ever seen. They're not just terrible ideas, but are terribly executed from a technical standpoint. It actually bums me out that this garbage gets any attention at all.

with the current uniforms are the white away ones. Michigan's colors are maize and blue, NOT WHITE. I'd like to see a maize away uniform. Then I'd be content.

What's important may be the thoughts of guys a third my age - they're the ones we're recruiting. I hate them, but we aren't after 56 year old linebackers.
