It has begun.

  • Gildan New Mexico Bowl (Albuquerque, NM)- Washington State vs Colorado State, 2pm on ESPN (ESPNEWS until KU basketball finishes up)
  • Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl (Las Vegas, NV)- USC vs Fresno State, 3:30pm on ABC
  • Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (Boise, ID)- Buffalo vs San Diego State, 5:30pm on ESPN
  • R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl (NOLA)- Louisiana vs Tulane

Let the football, snacks & drinks flow

Info on some of the sponsors. Some I had to look up, because I've never heard of 'em.

The -22 rushing yards have not stopped Washington State from producing an otherwise decent 368 net yards of offense in the game. Halliday has been good for about a 63% completion rate and 390 yards of passing.

In the event anyone was interested, the New Mexico Bowl has produced 858 yards of offense up to this point, only about 1/5th of it being on the ground.

WSU's QB has the ball stripped but after a long review, it was correctly ruled that he was down.  Next play, CSU strips the running back.

EDIT: Red turf is way worse.

MSU gonna take Texas in BBall.  Just had a ridiculous off the backboard alley oop in transition to put them up 13, will very possibly be #1 on SC Top 10.

It's great to see players get excited for bowl games even when nothing is at stake. We as fans may be disappointed in the bowl destination but you bet UM's players will be up for it.

Buffalo has zero first downs and all of 25 yards of offense - on 14 plays too.

Going back to the New Mexico Bowl, the popcorn dude is hopefully passed out in a pile of fresh, buttered goodness right now. It seems only just given the end of that game.

This is ridiculous. UL Lafayette was up 21 and they're looking like they're about to blow that. WSU choked on applesauce as well. I'm about to go 0-4 today. Even though I put 1, 2, 3, and 4 points on the games today, it still irritates me.

Watching all these multi-colored fields make me wonder when DB will be changing our field color to Maize and what corporate sponsor will be funding it?  (Aflac, Dominos, who has maize as a color logo???)

Hint:  Sarcasm here boys, sarcasm!
