On a side note, having a #1 jersey in the ONE GAME ONLY JERSEY STYLE is beyond stupid. I get wearing the #1 jersey at games where we have no #1 currently playing as an homage to people who wore the #1 before, but if the jersey is solely for a game where we have no #1, then it should not have a #1.

I'm picking up what you're laying down--I just bought my new #1 jersey for this season not long ago (traditional home jersey).  And to me, it's an homage to my first U-M football hero:  AC.  I was a 9 or 10 year old kid when he was doing his thing, and no matter who may wear that number in the future, mine will always represent Anthony Carter.

I got a letter from the government the other day . . .

Thing is, it also constitutes "news".  I agree, they shouldn't be spamming us every ten seconds, but they have new promotional stuff in.  If someone non-Moes-related had posted and been like "oh, they have all the UTL stuff at Moe's", that would've been totally cool.  So basically you're pissed at them because they were up front about who they were (username) and did it themselves instead of waiting for the grapevine.  I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

I'd also like to be updated when the student shirts are in, if they're not already.

Denard has spent the offseason working really hard and smiling at people.

Haxel: Kindly STFU. Doubling down on asshattery doesn't make it better. It's a local A2 business, a longstanding supporter of this blog- it's first actual sponser that wasn't a google ad, etc. They've also run promotions in the board and given away free stuff. Stop being petulant. The board has mods. And a proprietor. Clearly they're okay with it.

Because we're going to play a night game like every year. It's the first, sure, but it's not like it a rare occurance around college football (like having 100,000 see a hockey game is), and it won't be for Michigan either. Slapping a nickname on it is just stupid.

The hoodies at moe's that cost 70 dollars are WAY better quality than the 30 dollar ones.  They are much thicker and heavier.  They also last a lot longer.    I think you get what you pay for.

I don't understand why Moe's/UGP stock so many of these shirts that already look worn out.  I want to wear out the design on a shirt myself, not buy one that looks beaten to heck already.  Otherwise, maybe I'd buy some of those old Michigan wordmark or old-school Wolverine logo shirts.

Because having worn it and washed it look for $70 is obviously cool. But now it's the majority. Should items that already look old and beat up be on clearance? It like when people used to pay for jeans with rips already in them (or look faded). I used to do all that as a kid for free.

Actually, I kinda liked the polos... until I saw the price.

I did notice a problem with the "Dueling Helments" shirts:

They have the retro ND helmets, but don't have the numbers for the retro Michigan helmets. At least as far as I can tell from the picture on the site. But I think this is an Adidas problem, not Moe's.

I totally agree.  I might've (but probably not) bought one if they looked the same as the game jerseys.  The replicas are hideous bumble-bee-shouldered monstrosities.

The proportions between the stripes and the numbers and the M on the front are completely different in the game jerseys. A lot more blue, a lot less stripe.

Plus, it's a "jersey" only in name. Good luck getting pads under that thing. It's basically a shirt inspired by the game jersey.

Those are the two main reasons why it sucks, IMO.

But I'm buying one of the hoodies...

What I want to know is why there are no helmet numbers on the "dueling helmets" t-shirt.  

I like the polo.  Not the price, but the shirt is something I might wear.

I really like the sweatshirt, but I must say that I'd like to see more maize. People will buy this stuff and want to wear it to the game, so why not make it maize for the maize out?

I would suggest you relax.  He took 1 minute out of your day to advertise his MgoWares and you throw a tantrum.  I think the track jacket and hoodie are pretty sharp, and will be rocking one or both on the streets of Wicker Park.  The jerseys are starting to grow on me too.
