UMASS TV coverage
I was looking forward to the UMASS game this morning and i noticed that Big Ten Network is covering the game. So i looked to noon on Saturday on my cable box and it says that BTN is carrying the Ohio State-Ohio game. I do live in Toledo and have Buckeye Cable so it makes sense for BTN to carry OSU, but does anyone know if Michigan will be picked up by another network then.

Too bad my overflow BTN channels aren't HD :-(

Chicagoland area is showing Ohio Vs. Ohio State as well. (to save other from checking)
Comcast only shows the main BTN channel I believe. If you have DTV you might be in non-HD-luck.
Is there any chance ESPNU picks it up?

The BTN Overflow channels come and go on the Comcast guide in Chicago. We most certainly get them though. Wait a little longer in the week and check the gamefinder again. You'll get the game.
EDIT: The BTN overflow channels on Comcast Chicago (at least in my region/zone/whatever) are 692, 693, 694. I believe they can even go to a 4th and 5th channel if it absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, it looks like they're not in HD.

For some reason, and maybe I hallucinated it, I saw an ad saying the game would be on ESPNU. I get the BTN so it's no big deal, but I'm pretty certain I saw that ad while watching a college football program on the U.

ESPN.com says they are carrying Maryland vs WVU.

ESPNU on the program doesn't have a specific game listed and they played MSU vs. Florida Atlantic last week.

700's for regular broadcast
1700's for HD

Damnit.. I'm in Mount Pleasant and it's showing Ohio State for me. I don't have overflow channels.
What the hell, BTN? I'm in MICHIGAN and you're not even showing the Michigan game?

This is why everyone should have DirecTV. CABLE SUCKS!! Not only do I get the Big 10 Network and all of the alternative Big 10 Channels but they are all in HD! Drop that cable and pony up for the best TV provider available

I just got DirecTV a couple months ago,and I will never live without this again. I had more HD college football on yesterday than I knew what to do with.

Does anyone know if bigtennetwork.com will offer a stream? Does it cost money? Has anyone used it before, how is it?
September 12th, 2010 at 1:02 PM ^
I watched a free event on their once and it was pretty bad, but i guess it is better than not seeing the game at all.
September 12th, 2010 at 1:01 PM ^
If you live in the Dayton, Oh area, and have Time Warner, it'll be on channel 99, in standard def unfortunately, but it's better than not at all.

I am going to the game and the BTN will replay the game on Tuesday and Wednesday. If anyone wants their problem solved, I have 2 great extra tickets listed on Ebay item # 270634162669 .

Good news for Toledo residents with Buckeye Cable, BCSN is picking up the game. They have it listed as NCAA Baseball but i think that is just a typo. Here is a link http://www.bcsn.tv/Schedule.aspx?DayID=5&WeekStart=9/13/2010

They did this last year.. For those of you who live in michigan and it says Ohio State vs Ohio, dont worry. It will show the michigan game. Last year it did that when OSU was supposed to play and instead the delaware state vs mich game was on

I wonder how this works for people not in Big Ten Country! I moved to Arizona this past Spring. I was hoping with having Dish network and the BTN I wouldnt miss any Michigan games!

If you don't have direct TV, you will find that any sports bar will have it.
September 12th, 2010 at 3:39 PM ^
Looks like BTN will air the game at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning through Comcast.
September 12th, 2010 at 4:41 PM ^
Should be able to stream it live on the internet somewhere as well as listening to the radio broadcast. It's not the best way to watch a game, but it sure beats gamecast.

anyone know if direct tv's big ten network will have the game in california?
September 13th, 2010 at 12:03 AM ^
For those of you with Dish Network it will be on channel 5440 or 5441. That is all.
