Transfer from Eastern to an FCS school like UMass, you automatically go from 11 game loser to 10 or 11 game winner, you get the same amount of press attention, and you don't have to sit out a year!
That said, I guess Eastern still does get more attention from the Pros than an FCS school, after that guy from Eastern went so high in the last draft.
Of the six transfers that made their debut, three are former Northeastern Huskies. Interesting. Or not.

As of the end of last year, they dropped their football program. So I guess it makes sense that there would be a lot of transfers from Northeastern into other New England area schools.

That would make sense.

And Hofstra dropped their program too, so that's one more. Looks like they picked up four starters from other D1AA programs, a couple of whom seem to be fairly accomplished. No wonder they've improved from their rather poor showing last year.
good fortune in the future. Unfortunately for them, our offense doesn't need a minute. I think they are in for a long day.

Looks like they are going to be weak and in-experienced on the left side of the offensive line. The Manster should have a field day no matter who he's lined up against, but now the rest of our D-line has got to be licking their chops staring down first time starters. Thanks for the info, always a good to scout the enemy.

I didn't know people transferred FROM Eastern Michigan.
