Yeah, I was really nervous about this one, with SDSU having a lot of incentive to beat their old coach. It turned out to be a really satisfying performance.

The only thing interesting about this game were the two girls in the end zone front row that flash Vincent Smith during his 4Q touchdown.

of that horrific struggle with Umass came to mind during the pregame but as the game went on and our offense and defense dominated those old RR memories were once again surpressed in the back of my mind.

When Hopkings trotted onto the field for that play I yelled 'Don't give the ball to Hopkins! He always fumbles!' and lo, he did again. I think I impressed 2, maybe 3 people near me

I was talking with an SDSU asst last night and he said that the d-line all wore red socks for the game as he had been their position coach too and they knew he never wore red. Apparently Rocky Long aired them out at half time telling them they were a bunch of pussies thinking the color of their socks would be worth a damn.
Not sure I'd seen the story on he red socks told here yet.
