This is the 5th straight night game in the series. Two more and we can get to UTL VII, Adrian's Revenge!
December 7th, 2017 at 2:39 PM ^
UTL With a Vengeance?
Live Free or UTL?
A Good Night to UTL?
December 7th, 2017 at 3:29 PM ^
UTL: Catholic Boogaloo.

Once we get to 10 we get a free subway sandwich
December 7th, 2017 at 2:28 PM ^
Too bad because apparently Harbaugh is physically incapable of winning night games.
We might as well forfeit.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:29 PM ^
they beat Minnesota, that's gotta count for something
December 7th, 2017 at 2:58 PM ^
I actually forgot we even played Minnesota this year.
December 7th, 2017 at 8:24 PM ^
I slept through that game
December 7th, 2017 at 4:02 PM ^
Also at night in Anno Harbaughensis 1 right?
December 8th, 2017 at 5:15 AM ^
My son and I got to go to that game. After the monsoon and thunder-boomers left the area, we had a great time. It was fun watching Higdon & Evans run wild all over Minny.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:35 PM ^
Maybe I'm wrong and I'm just scarred by memories of Reggie Ho, Rick Mirer, Hoke/Borges again trying to turn Denard into a drop-back passer.
There's a lot of history we'd have to break to win that game, but if we win we check off a few boxes: Win on the road, versus a ranked opponent, and at night. Great opportunity.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:44 PM ^
Shea Patterson ain't afraid of the dark.
December 7th, 2017 at 3:21 PM ^
Patterson to Jefferson in 'Denard to Gallon' fashion?
December 7th, 2017 at 8:23 PM ^
at Notre Dame Stadium that I still have nightmares about...Michigan looked horrible in that game and still almost won it...QB couldn't catch a break...whet... was Steve Smith sacked 8 or 9 times in that game?
EDIT- that game featured one of the greatest fluke plays in all of Michigan hstory....that went to Michigan's advantage, actually
December 7th, 2017 at 2:27 PM ^
But this is getting old. Now get off my lawn.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:32 PM ^
Nah, the national exposure from the marquee night game slot is worth it.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:46 PM ^
Suck it up, Buttercup! God willin' and the creek don't rise, you'll be able to stay up past your bedtime on that Saturday.
December 7th, 2017 at 3:43 PM ^
By then I will have finally graduated, summer class schedule willing, and relocated to California to live by my kids. 22 years to get a bachelors, not bad eh? Anyway, here’s to it being an afternoon kickoff in my prospective world.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:28 PM ^
I prefer the season opener to be a noon kick. But whatever.

December 7th, 2017 at 2:34 PM ^
Quick, somebody get WalterMitty in here!
December 7th, 2017 at 2:28 PM ^
Awesome! A road night game...
December 7th, 2017 at 2:28 PM ^
Nice. Now all of America will be able to kick back after dinner, pop open a brew, and watch Michigan break a foot off in that ass.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:32 PM ^
Are they graduating everyone I hope?
December 7th, 2017 at 2:35 PM ^
Not sure how accurate this 2-deep is, but if true they are set to graduate four of their starting OL and all three linebackers.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:48 PM ^
Just an echo but one of my best friends is a ND fan and Oline made that team. LT wil be picked in RD1. The other 3 will get a shot at the pros.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:36 PM ^
Lose most of their OL and a good portion of their defense.
They also fell apart during the second half of this season.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:48 PM ^
So, a new OL against a veteran Don Brown DL?
Catholic doom...
December 7th, 2017 at 2:40 PM ^
Look like Wolverine victims to me
December 7th, 2017 at 3:13 PM ^
but next year's sked doesn't look quite as daunting these days. A week to consider after ND may be an interesting gift. . .
December 7th, 2017 at 3:59 PM ^
IIRC, Notre Dame was also extremely dependent on the run and didn't have much of a passing game. That's not a good recipe for success vs the Don
December 7th, 2017 at 2:28 PM ^
First they make us play there even though we played there last and now at night.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:53 PM ^
It's all Dave Brandon's fault
December 7th, 2017 at 3:01 PM ^
Warde Manuel was on board at the time
December 7th, 2017 at 4:00 PM ^
It's funny
December 7th, 2017 at 3:15 PM ^
I feel like we got dumped by them, and then went back to be insulted further. Yes, it is a great rivalry. Yes, we need to suck it up to get it back on the schedule. But it is painful how the Dave Brandon years are like an STD, a gift that just keeps on giving.
December 7th, 2017 at 5:11 PM ^
December 7th, 2017 at 5:26 PM ^
We were hot from the beginning. In fact, we taught them how to be hot, but they lost it.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:29 PM ^
It'll be interesting to hear how loud the place gets when it isn't filled with 50,000 Georgia fans.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:29 PM ^
Of course it will be...
December 7th, 2017 at 2:31 PM ^
Let’s embarrass purple face
December 7th, 2017 at 4:32 PM ^
Too late . . .
December 7th, 2017 at 4:35 PM ^
Touché
December 7th, 2017 at 2:32 PM ^
Shea Patterson is going to knock their dicks in the dirt.
24-17-1
December 7th, 2017 at 2:33 PM ^
Water will be wet.
It's about the ad revenue, and the matchup is one of the most storied in college sports.
