State was lucky and cakewalked their way into the title game. It would have been more acceptable if they were playing good hockey and beating the good teams but they got some ridiculously easy matchups. I'm still pissed about that one because the hockey committee screwed #1 seed UM and shipped them to a tough regional yet gave #2 MSU the home games in the easist regional. No doubt UM would have won had they been in that regional as they had deserved.

The main difference is that this Michigan team is on a tear unlike that MSU team. UM will earn it should they win.

that we either won't have to play St Cloud or Wisconsin by the end of this game. not getting ahead of myself - they both just are playing some solid hockey and having both still in the tourney would be "ungood"

It was a lot easier than trying to get through a thread with 441 replies to see who won. I will be watching the replay of tonight's game on ESPNU at 11:30.

We're on a tear. Talk about getting hot at the right time. Good grief. One game from the frozen four. Who would have thought that possible. Hopefully the Red Wings are taking notes!

Miami fans were absolute pricks in our section. They do not want anything to do with us.

I have tickets for Sunday night but I have a 1 o'clock quarterly meeting Monday. 8 o'clock start sucks. Game, 8 hour drive home, meeting at one. GO BLUE!

Pep rally and fans were great. Refs made the game frustrating.

two talking heads @ ESPN didn't have UM in the final four. melrose had miami/cornell (miami win) while Sean Ritchlin had miami/Wisconsin with the badgers winning.

I was just perusing the NCAA Men's Hockey fanpage on Facebook, and some chick was complaining about how "Michigan is getting all these home-ice advantages."

Boo hoo. We had to win the '96 Title in Ohio, and the '98 Title against BC IN Boston. So tell me another one.
