The Michigan - Michigan State game (Oct. 29) will kick off at Noon ET on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. #GoBlue

the other 12 PM ET ABC/ESPN/ESPN2 games are Penn State @ Purdue and Louisville @ Virginia.
PSU/Purdue doesn't exactly feel like an ABC game - actually, that feels A LOT like Beth Mowins on ESPN2. So for U-M/MSU, it's probably down to ABC/ESPN with the ACC game.
October 17th, 2016 at 12:34 PM ^
That would be my guess as well. PSU/Purdue feels like it should be on ESPN8.

The "Ocho" shows Dodgeball on Saturdays, IIRC.

by dodgeball. That's sad.

Probably would have had a good chance to be College Gameday if State wasn't garbage. Not anymore
October 17th, 2016 at 1:26 PM ^
I can't believe people still care about where College GameDay is at...

that possibility ended three State loses ago

With a trash tornado included, if Sparty could somehow control the weather.

This is their team bus...

Excellent. I shall have the brunt of my day to do with as I choose following a historically vicious prison-raping of the Spartans of Michigan State...
October 17th, 2016 at 11:53 AM ^
but I just don't see the need to evoke that imagery. Beatdowns don't have to be associated with, you know, that.

Sorry, I misspelled "prison-snuggling"...

You buddy (lol).
Looks like you have a personal vendetta to go and sniff out any fun that may be on this board.

I thought. Toe meets leather at 1:30.
You can either televise it or not.

Yes, I too think rape jokes are funny. Especially when they involve clowns.

you should go to the Sandusky family picnic then...

You two should be ashamed of yourselves. This comedy club is no place for your base humor!

That "constant nervous waiting" is part of the fun for me.
Also, my brain cannot wrap around that idea of having other things to do on college football Saturdays (other than the selfish people who schedule their dumb weddings on football Saturdays). The only thing to do every Saturday during the season is to watch football all day and night.

This.
It's one of the reasons I hate noon games and even WD will too one day.
Kid activities are usually mostly over by a 3:30 game

Attending a funeral that Saturday, so I will take any tips on how best to avoid any spoilers so I can enjoy the game later that day.

I'm not trying to be insensitive but I've never known of someone planning a funeral multiple weeks in the future.

BTW...the RMS Titanic was declared unsinkable prior to its first Atlantic crossing.

when you have out of state relatives that want to be there for the memorial, and especially if an autopsy is to be done. It's more common than you might think, unfortunately...
October 17th, 2016 at 3:52 PM ^
allows a lot more flexibility with timing (if the deceased would otherwise be presented) and makes it somewhat common for funerals with a lot of out of state relatives to be planned weeks in the future - and on a weekend when more people can attend.

I've watched at least three games this year later than broadcast. If you have an iphone, set it to "do not disturb". You will also have to commit to not looking at your phone at all until you're caught up with the game. I set my DVR, then put my TV on a different, non-sports channel so that there's no chance I catch the bottom-line score.
Good luck, and sorry about your reasons for delay.
October 17th, 2016 at 12:17 PM ^
I'm weak - no way I could do it. If I couldn't watch, I would at least listen to Brandstatter/Dierdorf. For some reason, I feel the need to watch sports live and just can't get into watching a game on DVR after it was played.

I did it for the Wisconsin game and I was very worried somebody was going to ruin it for me. I work in retail, so it was very possible that any number of customers could've mentioned the game. Somehow nobody texted me about it, either.

I don't even use the DND feature. Just turn it off completely.
