I still think michigan is correctly playing both suppliers off each other. This has to be easier than Hackett's previous negotiations with suppliers.

I think the highest bidder is the best, but would rather have Nike.

Obviously there's nothing official yet and any changes would come at the end of Adidas' contract term if indeed they came at all, but the most ominous thing to me when it came to the future of Adidas in Ann Arbor was that the highlights of the proposal - posted a few days ago - contained what seemed like numerous concessions. It seemed clear that, in a straight up battle, they were not winning the argument at that moment.

THANK GOD. Adidas is just so far behind Nike it's unbelievable. Every jersey Adidas made for a special night game or something like that was horrendous with the exception of the UTL II jerseys last year, which weren't that great either. They were just a big step up from all the garbage jerseys they made for us before.

I have a 24/7 account and am a VIP member there so thats where I usually hangout, I just decided to make an account here yesterday because it was so easy and never really bothered to look into it but I like the atmosphere here. I know some people really close to the program and I trust what they say, but I would honestly still take it with a grain of salt just in case

UTL I was awesome when it was done. It felt like homecoming and going back to the old. We had Hoke, we had MANBALL. We had THIS IS MICHIGAN. We had nostalgia everywhere. The presentation was awesome.

We were the only school in the country at the time with the letter on the front of the jersey. That was unique, that was Michigan. Leaders. You can't knock those except for the rips.

UTL II didn't have alternate jerseys, it was the legends patch and Devin went bonkers in the #98.

UTL III went all blue

...all 3 were well done when they were done, I don't think any of them need to be REdone - but great job the first time around. The Alabama jerseys weren't bad. The Outback Bowl's were awful because you couldn't see the numbers. And the bumblebees...we do not speak about the bumblebees.

In the end, Michigan doesn't need to be wearing alternate jerseys period. I don't care if it's Nike, Adidas or Tommy Gear. We just don't need it. And the fact that we'd make a multimillion dollar decision based off alternate jerseys for the football team is ridiculous. If this even comes into discussion everyone in the room should be slapped.

The ones that were all blue were the ones I was saying were okay. I (and most of the Michigan fans I have talked to) was not a fan of pretty much any of the Adidas jerseys that were done. I never said I was a fan of alternating the jersey at all, I simply said I wasn't a fan of the alternate jerseys that Adidas came up with. If we are going to use alternate jerseys, I would at least like them to look cool. I wasn't a fan of some of the things Adidas did for the basketball team either. Nike is just all around better and I think majority would agree with me there. I don't see where you were going with all the Hoke and Manball stuff, that didn't make the jersey's look any cooler?

Please Jordan brand for basketball. I think that might give us ever so slightly advantage in recruiting within the big ten.
