This just came up on my facebook wall. I hope it's true.

On their way to Denver for the MCLA national championship tournament this week, I'm sure.  Mulletts and foo manchus.  Perfect.  Your friend didn't take pictures?

Wonder if they'll be going to the Denver / Villanova game tomorrow at DU.  They'll probably be playing DU next year once they are D1 and in the ECAC.

I don't think this is worthy of its own post but maybe someone can help with the following questions:

IF/When we join the ECAC with High Point will a 10th team be joining?

Becoming Division 1 how does that affect scheduling/ likely opponents?

How has recruiting been coming along since the announcement to go D1?

Michigan is a near-definite to join the ECAC, High Point is not. There has been some talk of Penn State moving to the ECAC from the CAA and the conference going to divisional play. Personally, I'd rather dump the East Coast teams and go with a neo-GWLL, but that's neither here nor there.

It affects scheduling because they'll be playing, like, Division-1 teams now.

Very well. I'll have much more about lacrosse recruiting on GLS once the MCLA Championship is over.

Thanks for the update, can't wait to see more updates about this.  Absolutely loving the ESPN coverage of D1 Lax.  I live in Syracuse so have been able to watch Syracuse and by no means think Michigan will be to their level for years to come but love seeing the game played at a high level.

Yep, they will be at the DU game today. Hopefully I get to see that one on tv, they certainly won't go unnoticed and I'm curious to hear what the announces might say.
