UM Hockey Season Tickets and College Hockey Showcase
I was a bit surprised when I laid out my full season's worth of UM Hockey Tickets to see that the Wisconsin and Minnesota games were included in the actual printed-out block of perforated tickets. These are the College Hockey Showcase games, and had to be purchased at the same time as regular season tickets but the price was outside of the standard season ticket price. My experience with prior years' student-vacation game tickets (College Hockey Showcase falls on Thanksgiving Weekend) is that they are loose tickets and are not the same seats as my season tickets.
My question to any season ticket holders out there that did NOT purchase the two extra games is do you just have some gaping whole in the perforated block? Anybody have a theory on this? I know it's not the most pressing issue but it struck me as very odd.

I think if you don't order the tickets for any games during breaks they just print Void on them but it's been a few years so I could be wrong.

yeah I'm pretty sure it just says VOID where seat/section/row usually goes

My hockey season tickets have always included the games for the College Hockey Showcase (when it's been held at Yost of course). Does the ticket office not include those games for the student packages?

The student ticket packages do not include any game over a university student break (for example, some students complain about paying for a ticket when they will be home for thanksgiving). There usually is an option to let students buy the tickets if they choose to. For example, with senior night being over spring break the past couple years, students could buy those tickets if they wanted to and were going to be in town for that game. But in the base price of the tickets ($199 i believe), the college hockey showcase and any game over spring break at yost is not included.
