UM-friendly bar locations across the US (and elsewhere)
Anyone know of an alumni bar in Tulsa,OK? I would appreciate the info.
I recently moved to NH a few weeks ago, looking for Michigan friendly places around Concord, Manchester and or Nashua, NH. I see that The Barley House is one, but is it only for the ND game? If anyone has any help, let me know.
HAIL!

Going to be in Dallas for the Western game, and it appears my hotel does not have ESPN2. Any suggestions to watch the game in the downtown Dallas?
I hadn't been in this thread for a while, so the map was a bit out-of-date. I think I've got everything updated now. If anyone knows of any other places, or sees info on the map that's incorrect, let me know and I'll fix it.
I saw Ropewalk Tavern was removed in Baltimore. Is there a reason? I just got out to Baltimore and have been there once before a baseball game and was hoping to head there for football, but I don't see it on the list anymore.
CoE Class of 2007
I'm going to be there for a wedding the weekend of the Eastern Michigan game? Anybody know where I could watch it at 11 am CT on Big Ten Network with volume? Good news is the Gophers aren't playing at the same time, to the extent that matters.
Nothing on the ol' Google Map for Gainesville, FL or even Jacksonville for that matter. Any help?
Hail.
Hey, I'm with the Solar Car Team at UofM, we are all in Australia and looking to catch the game here. The wifi speeds at the hostel have rendered my Slingbox useless, so we are looking for any other options in or around Adelaide, South Australia. Let me know if you know of anything!
Thanks, and Go Blue!

The Black Finn is no longer where folks are getting together to watch Michigan games in Cincinnati. Unfortunately there is no set place right now. The best option is to check out the Cincinnati Alumni page on facebook. Folks have been active about marking down bars in Cincinnati there.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/17974451375/
JLo, perhaps you can just put the weblink on the marker in Cincinnati?
If you want a place to put down, I've found that Oakley Pub and Grill at 3924 Isabella Avenue, Cincinnati, OH always changes the channel to the Michigan game for me. They hang a Michigan flag in the bar, but they also hang OSU and ND flags too...
'M-Burns', I'll never have better facial hair than this...
The main AAUM website lists all official locations for "football watching parties". It sounds like these are all the ones that alumni clubs have submitted. Perhaps these are all already on the map. I didn't see this link though in any of the comments.

Inside the Hyatt hotel in Monterey there is a sports bar called Knuckles. It opened before 9am. They would serve drinks. They would let you order breakfast from the breakfast place in the hotel and then at 11am their bar menu opened up for biz. It was great. tHey had a ton of TVs (mostly high def). Also, we were joined by 6 other UM fans and a pair of PSU vs Indiana fans. They had all the B1G games on.

For anyone living in downtown Orlando, check out Whiskey Dicks on Central (full address is listed below). Owner is a Mich grad from waaaaay back. His son is a huge fan and runs the day-to-day operations. You'll notice a full size winged helmet gracing the actual bar along with a hat signed by none other than Hoke. I don't make it there for every game, but I know that Mich is always on, and gets jumboscreen preference for any big games. For those of you in Florida, you know that knocking the Gators/Noles off the TV is no small feat.

Please add Dan McGuinness's Irish Pub on Spottswood as the Memphis Spirit Club site for watching UM football. Every football Saturday is scheduled there. OSU and PSU meet there, as well.

I'm a Michigan fan living in Columbus, Ohio...yeah don't ask why.
If there are any other UM fans living in this unfortunate scarlet and gray area, let me know. I'd love to watch the games with people who are not as ridiculous and biased as most (all) OSU fans.
There is a Michigan Fans of Columbus that watches games at Skybox Sports Bar near Polaris. I've never gone but I get their messages on Facebook all the time:
Skybox Sports Bar

I'm not going to be able to take that for THE GAME.
So, anyone out there from Munich, Plzen, or Prague that can recommend something?

I can't seem to find the bar listings. Help the ole boy and I have to go to a wedding and we are desperate to find a bar to watch the game in gator country!
Caroline McNabb
Caroline great to see your passionate about the Wolverines. I would love to watcht he gamewith you. I believe The Players Bar on St. Pete Beach will certainly broadcast the game. However, I do NOT believe its just a Michigan Bar.
Most likely I will be watching the game there love for you and friends to join my friends and there.
Its located at The Beachcomer Inn.

You can take Pour House in Washington DC off the list, the alumni club moved away from that location after they picked Florida over Michigan to take care of.
Buffalo Billiards in Dupont is an awesome spot to watch the game. Not sure if anyone has posted it already!?
EJ
semper fidelis
Tracey's on Magazine street is a B1G friendly bar and friendly to Michigan fans as well. You just have to avoid LSU games, but that is a general rule.
Hey JLo as a TRUE BLUE Michigan Wolverines Fan I truly appreciate you putting together this awesome map.
I used to run a Michigan Sports Fan Club for all the sports fans of The Wolverines, Red Wings, Pistons, Lions and Tigers at Mugs N Jugs in Clearwater, Florida until the owner sold the bar.
I am looking to find a Michigan Sports Fan Bar now in St Petersburg, Florida area. Do any Go Blue Fans know of one in my area?
I too am looking to establish another Fan Club Bar in the area once again. Does anyone have any suggestions in helping me create another club?
Damn!! we better Stop the "SUCKEYES" from their 7-0 streak tomorrow.

I visited the Tavern at The Lumberyard in Encinitas, CA (North of San Diego) for The Game, 2011. Prices were a bit high, but they play The Victors after touchdowns and the whole bar sings along. It was a great experience, and I would recommend it to other fans. It is an Alumi Association meeting place.

The Lumberyard Tavern in Encinitas, CA (northern San Diego County) is a Michigan bar not currently on the map.
just recently moved from michigan to minnesota(got a new job offer) anyone know of any michigan bar in the cold minnesota?
Seems to be plenty of alumni out here but no place to meet? Anyone know of a spot in Western MA or interested in creating one? Boston is just a bit too far most days.
The Half Moon in Phoenix is a great place.
The Team, The Team, The Team.
For people in Denver there is a Michigan bar called lodos in uptown. Great atmosphere
I've been making annual trips to Hilton Head and meet more Michigan fans each visit. I think it's time to put a sports bar full of Michigan fans right next to Mangiamo's.
Go Michigan.........Eiigy Pocr Off Ohio State !!!
If you've never been to Mangiamo's, there is an "M" in the bottom of the toilet. Time for turnabout!!!
Go Michigan.........Eiigy Pocr Off Ohio State !!!
Maisy's in downtown Baltimore, Maryland is a Michigan friendly bar/restaurant that has the sound on to all the Michigan games and also has the Big Ten Network. Within walking distance to numerous hotels. We also have the NFL Ticket for those displaced Lions fans.

Mad River is officially dead to me. What a bunch of turn coats. Place is right by my house, too. Luckily Matilda and Jacks are within walking distance. But still, to go from a Michigan bar to a State bar? It ain't right.
Speaking of, any Chicagoans been to Jack's yet? If so, how is it?
