UM Football now on Snapchat
The recruiting department has put together their own Snapchat account for the football team. I'm sure it will be a great follow for those that use Snapchat. Already on it, Jabrill gave a tour of the players cafeteria.

It allows you to put funny filters on your pics, like the "dog" filter. Lots of attractive women use the dog filter and now I'm slightly aroused by dogs.

It's very fortunate indeed that you stopped when you did, because that entire joke was about to be divided by zero, which for many people here may have been a good thing, but of course the collateral damage would have been the thread, the blog, all of us...existence perhaps. This may very well be the first time using that joke then at the same time refusing to do so saved lives.

For sure, I can't wait for football season to start. As far as content, I've been pretty happy with the media pressers and weekly recruiting updates.
It also seems like the snapchat account is a part of a more general recruiting strategy by Michigan to be present on social media: dedicated twitter and snapchat accounts, plus harbaugh is on instagram now, etc.

I know the NCAA gave the green light to contact recruits directly over twitter, but did they approve all social media contact? If the whole point of snapchat is that the texts disappear after a certain amount of time, won't the SEC be all over sending pics of cash, strippers, and blow?

There are ways around some of the features. A recipient can still take a screenshot of a picture someone sends, which won't be deleted, but generally, yes. That's the whole point of the app.
