Sweet, booking my hotel tonight.
My favorite team from my childhood vs my favorite team now and forever. I'm absolutely going to both of these
By then Mike Hart will be the offensive coordinator, and Jordan Kovacs will be the defensive backs coach.
This will come right after the home-and-home with Arkansas (2018 here, 2019 there), I believe. Cincinnati comes to Ann Arbor in 2017 too, I believe. It will be interesting to see how the future schedules fill out with the expanded conference schedule, but I like the major-opponent home-and-homes.
It will be very interesting to see where Virginia Tech and Michigan are by 2020.
Beamer is 66 now. Will he be there in 7 years time? I doubt it.
I remember when I was at WMU and VT came to Waldo to play. Everyone was hyped about it. If I remember right I was in A2 that weekend at the Michigan game(could be wrong) vs CMU or some mac school. Great story yes I know.
No one was hyped. Maryland players commented on the paucity of people in the stands.
It was a night to remember.
They can't put people in the seats in their own stadium.
This is a great home and home series
is a great place to watch a game. It's unreal how that place lights up.
What's the over/under on whether Beamer will still be coaching then? I have him doing a Paterno and "coaching" until the end
Excellent.
until you realize how old you'll be then and how young the actual players who will take part in that game are right now.
The VA Tech fans at the Sugar Bowl were very nice. I am very excited for this game and will certainly go.
