Uh, drinking thread? (& night games)

Submitted by evenyoubrutus on

It's fuckin' St. Paddy's day, Friday night, MSU is about to tip off (and hopefully get stomped) and there is no drinking thread yet. So I'm just gonna start one.

Arbor Brewing Michael Faricy's Stout. And Guinness. And whiskey. And something else I can't remember.

Cheers

All Day IPA, but started the evening with Fat Head Hop Juju, imperial IPA. Get your hands on it if you can. Great win today, even with the horrible rebounding. Onward!

I participated in the afternoon drinking thread.

BTW I dont think i've ever rooted for Miami in any sport at any time to win at anything.

Until tonight.

Started with a couple of KBS on tap in Birch Run around noon.

Then switched to Guiness.  Just had to.

Then an Old Rasputin.

Now I'm probably about five fingers into Jameson right now.

My ancestors are shaking their heads, proud, or some sort of combination.

Just puts me in a great mood, and so happy thinking about the sense of accomplishment JB and the squad must be feeling right now.  Keep it going boys.  See you in KC

Maybe it's just me but I sure expected better from MSU.  I mean wouldnt you think that a team with only 14 losses on the season who lost three of their last four games and beat nobody of note all year and had their best player go down with a season ending injury would do much better?

PSA from Indy: Dayton fans are pouring out of the Fieldhouse right now, before the UK game even starts (and there are a lot of them). If you're looking for tickets to M's Sunday game, there might be a good window on the resale market before UK probably advances and drives up the price in a couple of hours.

It's a surprisingly slow night at the restaurant, but will likely be slammed late night with green people.

Drinking Gumballhead (not my favorite, but i'll indulge) and Jameson.
