The Georgia Bulldogs halted their efforts to convince the redshirt freshman quarterback to remain at UGA. The school announced late Thursday afternoon that Park will be seeking an immediate transfer.
The 6-foot-4, 202-pound Park entered Georgia as an early enrollee in January of 2014. He came as a consensus 4-star prospect after passing for 3,665 yards and 33 touchdowns while leading Stratford to the Class AAAA state championship in Division II.

Don't think Michigan will purse but Harbaugh loves himself some QBs.

this kid is a very talented QB and despite my recent lowering of opinion toward Richt I know he was coached well in that RS year. I'd happily let him in the mix, essentially have another RS year with Harbaugh coaching him and let the best man win. IMO (and this will sound awful), we need to stop being so loyal to guys from a football aspect. Do we want to win or be nice? We can't truly have both at the levels that we want both. It's a scale as you want one more and the other falls. I won't name names but I want certain QBs to stay even though I HIGHLY doubt they ever start here. My top pick to transfer from here eventually is not even in the same league as Park is. I'd trade them today. I'd have no issue with another QB if it's a guy of his caliber. You need a QB to win (obvs) so I want a line of guys fighting and waiting in the wings as UM should never have a lack of QB options. I want guys that want to compete, wait their turn if they have to and have continuity at the position. I just think we already have some guys that might want out of the already crowded competition. If the staff already senses that, go get guys that want to battle. That said, this kid could be leaving UGA to avoid competition so......ha.

I don't get the Stanford hate? He is still youngish as an NFL qb and I believe if you just let him gun sling he will just be a much be qb. Don't get me wrong he has his faults but when he just plays instead of worries about turnovers he can be a top 5 qb. I honestly thing he is over coached at this point. Guy has the heart to lead the lions

Who cares if he is young? It's his what 6th or 7th year in the league now? He is what he is. A QB who turns it over more than he should and needs more weapons than any other playoff QB. Being the number 1 overall pick he has disappointed vastly IMO. He is Jay Cutler Jr. Stafford rant not over.

Keep your filthy hands off of him. No but seriously, as a UGA fan, I was pretty pissed about this transfer. Park has a rocket arm. The only reason he transferred is because Mark Richt has a man crush on Brice Ramsey a.k.a the starter.

How many quarterbacks do we need/can we possibly have on our roster? Assuming he has to sit out a year and 2016 is the earliest he can play, we'll already have Morris, Speight, Malzone, O'Korn, Gentry, and Peters. I think we can find a solid starter from 6 scholarship QBs and don't need to add another. Yes Harbaugh loves himself some QBs but that's a scholarship that could be used at a different position where we need to build depth.

I dont think our current qb count will be the norm going forward. Its more a product of rebuilding and having as many options as necessary at the most important position. Plus Rudock and Okorn really count as one guy since Okorn cant play this year and Rudock cant play next year

may have used it all up.  can you burn your eligibility in one sport?  can throw.   can read defenses since i played TE until my early 40's.   but older than most minerals now so probably not going to get richt to come by the farm for an offer...
