Just glancing over at UConn's progress year-to-date.
Kind of similar situation to Michigan in that they're 4-5 and only 1-4 in Big East conference play.
Then I took a look at their schedule results so far.
All four wins were decisive, 7 points or more.
All five losses have been by 4 points or less.
Assuming decent number of returning starters, that's a very good sign for a team set to make the most improved list next year.
Not sure how many players are coming back for 2010 season. I think they might lose their leading receiver Easley to graduation, but QB Endres and TB Todman will be back next season.
For the inaugural game of renovated Michigan Stadium, it should be a very interesting matchup.
